Wee Baby Seamus
Yo, Goober, where's the meat?
optimisticI can't wait for Gilmour to come on at the 90th minute.

Yeah I think that could be a pretty valid concern. I think United had a pretty similar issue prior to Bruno joining. Obviously Bruno is a very talented player, but his passion and leadership has also had a huge impact on the squad as there wasn't anyone on the team prior who truly possessed that quality to push everyone when he's on the field. So the main issue here, obviously, is tactical. But I think there's the secondary problem, revealed mainly in these last parts of the game and consistently through this real rough patch, is a real dearth of leadership in the squad. There's a lot of frustration. Mount has shown signs of being able to offer that, but others really have to step up
Only from La Havre’s academy, apparently. As they have done for years now as well, will reinvest that money in some top class youth.
Who have they bought from La Havre? I cant think of a big one off the top of my head.Only from La Havre’s academy, apparently.
Chelsea definitely have a better squad... at least by name. They're outside Europe and there isnt a single excuse for it.They are a better team. He isn’t wrong. 200 million or no.
They play much better, but player to player they aren't better on paper. When you have a squad like this you can't go saying that a club that spent a fraction of what you have is better and act like you were underdogs for the match. They are a better team. He isn’t wrong. 200 million or no.
It was a joke about the conversation upthread, where Le Havre currently has a better academy than Arsenal, despite Arsenal, in my opinion, having produced more players, even if Gnabry may not be on Pogba's level.Who have they bought from La Havre? I cant think of a big one off the top of my head.

Ah, I have that poster on ignore. It was a joke about the conversation upthread, where Le Havre currently has a better academy than Arsenal, despite Arsenal, in my opinion, having produced more players, even if Gnabry may not be on Pogba's level.
I fully expected this result, I predicted it before the game and explained why I was saying it, and exactly what I said would occur happened. That's separate from it being completely unacceptable for a club of our stature with the massive talent and wages we have to be getting run off the field by Leicester like this. It's not that we lost, it's how we lost and Lampard's pathetic reaction to it after the game.Really?
I mean, Vardy is much more proven than anything that showed up tonight for Chelsea. Clearly the back line of Chelsea is finding itself (and they’re not helped by crappy tactics) to be generous. I do know that the midfield of Chelsea without a form Kante is getting run by what Leicester put out there.
sure, on paper Chelsea have more talent. But some of it doesn’t know what they’re doing, don’t know what position they’re playing and don’t fit what they want to do. Throw that in with an inexperienced manager who has never struggled, and they’re where they are. Leicester knows how they want to play, and how players fit. Can’t say that about the club from London.
Maddison made a comment about competing with "big teams that bring in big players on big wages" because of their better team spirit and effort.
Great interview overall.
