Just hire Laurent Blanc and call it a day, but the problem is that Edu will have his old boys gang connection giving another Arteta 2.0 his opportunity to shine.
Ceballos was the worse player for me, so many stray passes.
How many of those have turned into goal against though? Both goals are direct results of Bellerin being a rubbish player and that doesn't include the five or so times he was legitimately beat that lead to Holding getting out of position and chasing his player while he just jogs back at half-effort. Xhaka has also been brutal, can't pass without time to save his life.

I think that's harsh on Bellerin. Lot of players at fault on both goals.

You can't keep your trigger finger happy and turn into the Sabres. Arteta probably sucks, but you gotta have faith until the point we're in the relegation zone. Plus aiming at the manager for all the problems is such a piss-poor excuse.
I said I wanted Arteta to stick around tbf.

I don’t disagree but Gabriel has recovered nicely over his mistakes. Bellerin keeps allowing players to run at him and around him. That’s what I am implying. Just look at where their best chances for Wolves have come from? The left flank.

These last couple of managers show that Wenger was a masterpiece in his generation. It’s crazy though that he was let down by himself at the same time like his philosophy in the lack of destroyer, lack of more quality, and lack of intelligent signings which we’re still stuck with in Xhaka and Mustafi. Emery though shows he wasn’t as bad as he was scapegoat, but I can see how the language barrier was a huge problem.

I can handle losing, especially when we’re trying new things like Willian as a false nine,Auba as winger, or playing the youth (which we should be doing and did under Emery). But I can’t handle losing playing all these codswallop players that we already know their limits and weaknesses. Ugh.

Post game show mentioned that Jimenez is conscious in hospital and responding well to treatment.

The fact that Luiz was off at half is such a damning indictment of the concussion protocols in place in the league.

It’s painfully obvious they need a proper independent concussion spotter/evaluation system, perhaps even with a temporary substitution allowed to properly evaluate a player in a quite room type area.

34 year old Joao Moutinho continues to play almost every game at a fairly high level. Can't believe he can keep this up as a midfielder, it's pretty amazing.

Football is so backwards when it comes to head injuries.

Wolves had not won at Arsenal since 1979, in 41 years. Yet another negative record broken by the Spanish Tony Pulis.

Shocking. Really not that difficult in situations like today. Luiz should be off by default.

And with VAR they could easily evaluate if there is a clash of heads. If so a "free" substitution if necessary. Really shouldn't be though. Health is always more important than points - especially when it comes to head injuries.

I remember one game I played. A team mate got a head injury. Was subbed, but 5 mins later he just ran onto the pitch. He had no clue where he was and thought he was still supposed to play. Absolutely absurd, but then I saw first hand how strange these head injuries can be.

This is Arsenal's worst start to a league season after 10 games since 1981-82. Just sack Arteta now!

Not looking forward to the Derby next week...
Might be the first time ever since I’ve been a Gooner that we’re going to get our arse kicked bh three plus goals. Mourinho is already an auto loss but an in form Spurs should be a running riot against our slow and drawn out tactics. The stats say that Arsenal on average need the most passes before they shoot and that tells a lot.

Well the free (at least temporarily) sub is to give players more freedom to be honest instead of trying to hide symptoms out of a desire to not put their team at a disadvantage while they’re being checked out.

Basically you could make the system so that if the independent spotter/team recommends a player being pulled, his team gets to make a sub (that doesn’t count against the limit) while he’s being checked out. If, after the player is evaluated, the doc says he’s good, the sub has to be undone or else use one of your slots to keep it. If the doc says he’s not good the sub is permanent but still doesn’t count against the limit.
