Galchenyuk and Sekac were good. Everyone else sucked.

Honest question and I'm not saying this cause he had a bad period but: Was I the only one who has impressed with Tinordi more than Beaulieu?

No you are not. Not impressed by Beaulieu. I have yet to see what is so special about him. Both guys don't produce but Tinordi is better defensively and is physical which we need.

When it comes to young players, they'll have games where it's more difficult. Tonight it seems to be happening to Beaulieu. This is normal and part of the learning process. Not saying that Tinordi shouldn't play, in fact I'd like both of them to do so, but Beaulieu should keep playing despite making two mistakes tonight

What to do with DD if he's not getting the soft minutes he get right now, is a much bigger problem than the lack of LWs.

So yeah, DD is in the way.
DD is not the problem, he's a symptom of the problem. The problem is the coach. Any coach worth his salt would've realized that this was wrongheaded long ago. And yet we STILL see DD used as a number one and STILL see him welded to Max. How the **** we don't see Max with anyone else is just dumbfounding.

Sekac is so dangerous every shift he's on the ice. Its crazy that we got him for free.

Even crazier that the coach sat the guy for 7 or 8 straight games while playing guys like Moen and Bourque ahead of him. Thankfully MB stepped in and took that option away from his coach.

So what?

Look, young players are going to **** up, everyone gets that. I wouldn't have a problem with him getting benched except that it happens all the time. That's not how you develop younger players.

The guy ****ed up... okay, let him learn from it and move on. You don't play the kid 6 mins a night and expect him to develop. That's just ****ing stupid.
call up Tinner.
Right... and when he inevitably ****s up, we can bench him too. Then we can send him back to Hamilton for Beaulieu... Sounds great!

Beaulieu is an offensive defenseman.

Who can never get his shot through.

Beaulieu has 6 assists in 37 games. Tinordi has 6 assists in 39 games.

That's right but MT doesn't know how to handle young players...you can't get confidence with a coach like that...

No. I was shocked Tinordi was sent down over Beaulieu.

Same. I thought Tinordi was playing sound hockey, skating well and he was even creating things in the o-zone. I just think Tinordis unlucky because at this point Therrien will lean on guys like Emelin and Weaver who play a similar style to him more. We can't let Tinordi rot in Hamilton forever. At some point the guy has to graduate.

That's an indirect way of dealing with a flawed coach. Yes, he has a great record, but he is still the weak link on a potential juggernaut backstopped by an elite goaltending tandem.

Mustard saves ? This kind of saves is why people think goalies like Lundqvist and Quick are the best goalies in the league.

Yet, usually Price just gobbles the puck and it's a routine save, rarely does he go for the ---

Holy hell Sekac.

Yeah, I'm just ignoring that  I know our coach is a moron 90% of the time, YOU know our coach is a moron 90% of the time, for now we just get to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I didn't want to dislike Gilbert because I thought he deserved a chance, but what i see from him is just not convincing. Shaky on board battles, average hockey IQ, slow. He plays not to make mistakes and his offensive attempts are weak.

We are my pick to make it out of the East this year. We can win with MT as our coach.

But that doesn't make him a good coach.

Right now, there is probably no one on the team more motivated to redeem himself than Beaulieu. His screwup is the 'teachable moment' that builds experience and makes him a better player. The last thing you want to do is remove him from that.

Tinordi would be better served fine tuning his game at the NHL level, to me it's Beaulieu who's game stands to grow the most in the AHL at this point. Especially if he's not going to be given the chance to play an offensive game.

He already tried to make up for that.

Then Pittsburgh got a 2-0 lead.
