Poulin roof job after a successful forecheck. 1-0 good guys. I think it was Svejkovsky carrying the mail with speed for a nice initial zone entry.

I watched it and I wouldn’t qualify it or say that. Everyone was playing during Sven’s entry. Injury was due to a good clean hit on forecheck from Joshua during run of play and so was turnover. Poulin tucked it home on a 2v1 where the D took the pass and he changed angle on the goalie, who was still playing.

It wasn’t some crazy highlight reel goal but I also think there’s no reason to discredit it.

I wanna see a bit more but the last couple of games he's been quite visible. He's defensively responsible with a good amount of offensive acumen and hockey IQ.

Teams only get 50, right? Someone whose potential maxes out as an AHL 4th liner can't be given too much precedence, though at least he does hit people (but then so does Jamie Devane) and that's nice to see because it's so uncommon in Sullyland.

I only saw the third but Poulin was skating really well. Thought Belliveau looked good as well.

Poulin his what 22? Largely playing against 18-20 year olds? Didn't impress me all that much. Our two best players were Yager and Blomqvist IMO.

I think he could play now as a small winger. (might get killed along the boards) but he wants to prove that he's a center. I missed most of the game so how did he do on the faceoffs? last game he looked great there.

The Sabres took Benson right ahead of him in the draft, I was real high on him. After watching these last two games and though Benson did look impressive, I feel Yager didn't disgrace himself in any way. B+/A- for the Tourny

i agree benson is better than him now. but if yager can get stronger (and i think he can) and play at center he could end up the better player. there is a lot of "if's" though.

Yager is perceived to be the better all around player. I could see that. Benson on the other hand maybe a bit more flashy. Small sample size but I like Yager.
