Dear Lord Murashov's numbers fantastic. Foaming at the mouth for him to get here and be the next Shesterkin or Vasilevsky.

I’m sure Russia doesn’t seem so bad when you consider the alternative best case scenario is having your career in the hands of a d corps comprised of modern day Kris Letang and any day Ryan Greaves.

It looks like he split time between the KHL and MHL. 6 games in the KHL. Likely as a backup. Still, good number though.

I think Dubas said he wasn't sure about next season though. IIRC, he said he could be in WBS if he doesn't play with the Finnish International team. But don't quote me on that lol.

He suggested that he might be with Finland for the Worlds this spring but would be at TC next year and they might give him time to assimilate to NA and might spend time at WB next year.

Not a lot of talk about Cooper Foster but he’s having a productive D+1 season so here’s a few highlights. #29











A lot of his goals are like that.. just hanging around the net and putting in rebounds, tips, etc. Looks like he has some wheels and quick feet.

Ottawa’s decent, though not super high-scoring. They have probably one of the better coaches in juniors right now in Cameron, former HC in Ottawa who I thought squeezed more life out of a mediocre Senators roster than most other coaches could’ve.

I thought Tanks played pretty well. It's the VHL so curb expectations but it's been a great showing for a 7th round pick.

Yeah I think another year would be best for his development but then he’s more likely to just wait until August to become a UFA.

Dubas gets a couple talented RD with size and good puck skills and in the draft and maybe the call up develops into a decent 3rd RD, Another nice draft and at least Dubas has bodies to work with.

Dubas gets a couple talented RD with size and good puck skills and in the draft and maybe the call up develops into a decent 3rd RD, Another nice draft and at least Dubas has bodies to work with.

Absolutely not! You for a Center if possible. RHD are a crapshoot and take longer to develop. We need to start accruing assets down the middle. Unless there's a can't miss Lidstrom clone you go forward if all things are equal.

Pens have zilch in the system and I prefer adding a RD here. Center with Yagar, Poulin, the trade with the Canes and maybe Broz is far deeper than the RD in the system. As I do think Karlsson will be traded after next year and Letang getting older, this is a big need.

You can't draft like that though. We don't know what's going to be hard to find in 3-4-5+ years. Gotta just get the best players we can. Can always trade later on.

EK isn't going anywhere, he'd be a cap dump with a NMC. I just completely distain the idea of going for a RHD when Center is how you win in this league. Again, all things being equal. You 100% get a center. Beyond that we're stuck with Letang and EK for at least three more seasons.

We need to prioritize center and forwards. Once we accrue enough of them THEN you move on to defensemen.
