Lucius 1+2 in game 2 of the Big Ten Playoff series versus Ohio State. Goal was an empty netter to seal the win for Wisconsin. Game 3 tomorrow.
Titty Sprinkles - Morgan Freeman - quickmeme

Is there anything to this guy Jagr brought over to Pittsburgh for the Lemieux fantasy camp - Tichacek? 21yo, playing pretty well for Kladno, but undersized. Jagrs clearly campaigning for him.
An undersized undrafted vanilla midget, just what we need more of, can he PK, make dumb dick blind drop passes to nobody, refuse to shoot too?

I find it absolutely insane how different Brayden Yager is this year compared to last year. He went from a playmaking center that didn’t shoot a ton, to - sniper with 32 goals on the year and 78 points. He hit 78 points total last year and still has 16 more games to keep adding.

Yep Yager hit 78 points in 15 fewer games over last season. That's exactly the type of Progress you wanna see. Ther'es different things to consider beyond maturity. Linemates. overall quality of the team you play for, health, opportunity ETC. But it's a very good Sign. Koivunen is in a similar boat. Big Jump in his production over last season and he was one of the younger guys in his draft class. Plenty of upside (JUNE Birthday)

Conversely, Pickering and Cruz didn't take a step forward. Similar numbers when compared to last season, not the best sign in their cases.

Lucius looks pretty nifty in highlights, kinda plays with just enough jam too. He’s a perimeter guy but he’ll get inside and score in tight too, and he’ll throw a check now and then.

I’d probably have him go back to Wisconsin for 1 more year. The lighter schedule will be better for adding strength and improving his speed. And there might be a log jam in WB/S depending on what happens with Yager, Broz, Andonovski, etc.

Has there been any word about Murashov? I think his contract in Russia expires at the end of this season and I wondered if he could sign/join Wilkes-Barre to replace Blomqvist if he backs up Jarry in October.

Moose Jaw has 5 games left so I'm not sure what Jesse is talking about.

They won’t and idk if he’d be willing to play in the AHL but I would bring Tankov over next year.

Jesse is saying 68-52 = 16

Failed to account for the games missed from Pens TC and the WJC.

all the angst here over the state of the Pens is simply the players know change is coming. A new boss has to make the kinds of changes that will pay dividends down the road. Talent in drafts and trades and depth to compete for roster spots the next couple years. Rust, Karlsson will be traded. Geno maybe gives it a go one more year to see if he can play at the level he needs to. .

Awesome!

Can someone confirm this? Roughly speaking...

KHL = NHL
MHL = AHL
VHL = CHL (juniors/NCAA/etc)

I can never remember the tiers. I don't want to be looking at good stats in a crappy league. Like "Oh man! Buzz Flibbet has 17g and 30a in 30 games for the Florida Everblades in the ECHL! Bitchin! He'll make the NHL for sure!"

KHL is the top league.

VHL minors

MHL is junior.

Russia as a whole is much harder to put up numbers in because they’re super strict with assists.
