Kreider was unreal in the 3rd and OT. Completely took the game over. Made Letang look like a beer leaguer in that 3rd goal.

Great game for Georgiev. 3rd goal was very soft but otherwise terrific. Great poise on the penalty shot and in OT.

Btw that call giving Malkin was one if the worst calls I’ve ever seen. To call that on the goalie with this late in the game it better be super blatant like Hank a few years ago. When it’s a borderline and probably accidental play you can’t call that. That’s insane.

This team is never going to be bad enough to get to draft the players they need to turn this team around. And that sucks.

I've very publicly been ok with tanking but 2011-2014 happened without tanking.

The NYR are drowning in talent at all positions when you look at their prospects and the NHL. They also have a ton of ability to trade up in this draft for a Zadina or Svech if they want (Which I love Zadina and would be ecstatic to add him. I'm very happy with what's on the horizon for this team either way)

Pionk had a few really good moments, the best being making Letang chase him around.

Georgiev was incredible imo. The third goal was bad but he stopped a lot of great chances. The balls on that penalty shot save...
