5-1 at home. Only that Nashville stinker otherwise we’ve been very good.

Really looking forward to the bruins game. Will be going to the one here in Boston in December but feels like a 2 horse race right now for top dog in the conference.

Not me. I doubt they practiced that. Everyone out there needs to know their job. No need for confusion in the waning minutes of the period.
Like if the first unit sucked I’d understand it but they’re dominant. They manage defensive pressure extremely well and I think they let PIT off the hook there. Fox-Gus I think would be fine but that was just a disaster class

At least they've been good defensively and a net even, which is allowing us to stay the course.

If they started producing, and nothing else changed, we'd be real dangerous.
How is Mika a net even when he's top 10 in the league in EV GF%, which only increased tonight.

I felt Mika was better in this one.

Was skating with more of a purpose = hair flowing in the wind a little more.

First was one of his best periods this season. Had the assist and Jarry made a nice save on a sneaky shot.

He did a lot of great work on the pk too. As the game went on he fell back into defensive shell Mika which is a little understandable but we still need more from him offensively.

So, who is more important to this team: Offensive wizard Fox, or offensive clod Lindgren? Take Lindgren out and the D looks horrendous. Take Fox out and the points keep coming...

Quick reminds me of one of those older ex semi pro goalies that shows up out of nowhere to fill in at a beer league game and nonchalantly shuts the door and pitches an easy shutout, because he’s been there and done that like 12,000 times

Still need Kakko to break out like Laf. Still need any other line besides the Breads line to break out. Still need 2 high end centers in our pipeline.

I will continue to be annoyed probably for the rest of time that the Rangers play great team D in front of backups since 2005. Valiquette, Biron, Talbot, Raanta, Halak, Quick.

Meanwhile letting Hank and Igor to be magicians when they are starting

This is me

So the next two are back to back. Which game does Igor get which game does quick get? This is actually a tough calll. You very well may see Quick against Boston at MSG

Gotta give Laviolette credit Putting players like Jones and Schneider in critical situations. Makes sense with the team’s cap space. If it works out he’ll know what he has and if not, Drury will know what he needs.
