This was a team loss, but I'm not sure how you can absolve the third pair from any blame, especially since Braun is a better defender than both Nemeth and Schneider

It was just an off game for whatever reason but If they don't continue to play in 5 man units like they been, they're going to lose no matter who's playing on the 3rd pairing

I don't disagree. I'd go Jones-Braun for a period of time and see how they fare. There's no downside to it seeing as Nemeth-Schneider have been awful together.

Absolutely. Gallant knows that this effort at this point in the season is unacceptable and can snowball if not kept in check.

This is his shot across the bow to get everyone back on track. He’s been so even keeled and protective of his team every presser this season that it’s very pointed when he actually has a reaction like this.
