It would be in the Jets interest to do this. No chance LA would dangle Vilardi and Iafallo's names unless a deal is done.

It's the Jets telling the other teams : "Hey guys, we could get Vilardi and Iafallo in a potential sign and trade, so hurry up and increase your offer!".

In reality, the offer might be lower if he's traded as a RFA, or if PLD only wants to sign long term with 1 or 2 teams.

No. La needs a 2nd line center. Danault is not that. Having Byfield and PLD down the middle will be huge for LA.

I've never been the biggest fan of LA. Its not so much a city as miles upon miles of suburban sprawl. You spend half the time in the car just getting from one place to another.

I'm not saying Winnipeg is better. It definitely has its downsides.

Traffic is BRUTAL in LA. Never again. First time in my life that I experienced grid lock traffic. I really thought it was just in the movies and TV (mostly exaggerated) but inching every 5 mins fo 1-2 hrs... TBH LA isn't as glamorous as everyone make it seem to be.

Im sure if LA really wanted him they could get him, but I wouldn't describe him as a physical bottom paring dman. He plays a physical game sometimes but its pretty infrequent. He is barely a serviceable NHL dman and is probably best suited as some non playoff teams 7th dman.
