So did the Rangers. They started 40-20 and finished 50-52 and got into the playoffs second last day of the season. They had a 4-16 stretch in August and September. They also had a 8 game winning and losing streak in August.

So, you’re telling me it’s not Trea Turner’s fielding causing this collapse?

Even by baseball standards, they’re a volatile hitting group, with questionable all-or-nothing approaches, and they have a knack for clustering slumps. We’ve seen it 2 postseasons in a row.

Castellanos with the 140 wRC+ in the 2nd half is my favorite part. He’s right outside the top 50 in OPS too (#52). Conveniently didn’t mention him! Castellanos is a perfect troll at the plate, and I respect it.

This guy almost veered off into politics if you couldn’t think he could get any worse in this broadcast booth.
The evils of Facebook. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of social media for many reasons, but who even uses Facebook in 2024? Bunch of moms' book clubs and people selling their junk on marketplace

I don't think it was a good idea beforehand to start basically two bullpen games in a row. They need to get Phillips out. This game might already be over though. No urgency.
