Seven 2 out runs. That's the difference between the first half and the second. Honestly, just hits with risp if you want to be as basic with it as possible

That Marlins starter stunk. As many balls as strikes and his stuff was so flat. I'm so glad they finally got to him

Bullpen threw a shutout.

Also I got this text from my dad

We will remember this.

Pitchers are blowing out at an alarming rate. Hey let’s force every starting pitcher to throw 200 innings per year. Minor league pitchers are throwing like 100 innings per year so you would be doubling their workload in one year (in theory). Skenes will blow out by 26.

Says don't expect it to happen anytime soon bit if someone like this were to happen before an automated strike zone contract the league.

Dude how the f*** can this "MLB official" say he wants to reduce the amount of injuries and "return the starting pitcher to prominence" IN THE SAME f***ING SENTENCE

Mindblowingly stupid. This idea needs to not just be buried but shoved into the Earth's core. Holy f***

"We are interested in increasing the amount of action in the game, restoring the prominence of kick returns, and reducing the prevalence of head injuries," an NFL spokesperson said

This is the equivalent. The actual real equivalent.

Everyone is saying "well you see it's easier on the arm if you throw 6 innings at 80% rather than 4 innings at 110%"

People are actually saying this in real life.

I am enraged by now myopic and audacious this is. Pretty clear the old heads behind this just want to watch a REAL pitcher pitch again, like Nolan Ryan! Bring back the real pitchers!

Somebody stop Manfred.

I think the thing I would do, if I were to ever do anything, is go 1990’s kickball rules and have a foul out. Used to be 4 fouls and you’re out. That would max out AB’s at 9 pitches. Maybe I’d go to 10. Because that’s far enough to where it doesn’t happen often, but if you’re going further then that, everyone’s wasting our time anyways.
