This World Series has been on the weaker side as expected. In my cognizant lifetime, 1997, 2001, 2011, 2016, and 2019 are the only great series that I can remember. And 08 for obviously different reasons. The 2004 ALCS felt like a WS and was great too. Maybe I’m forgetting a few

2017 was fun.

The small ball finally caught up to the DBacks. Cant believe they bunted Marte in the 1st inning and Moreno in the 3rd inning. Got nothing out of it.

Rofl, now Semien is hitting these last two games.

Thats a wrap!

Its embarassing that the Phillies and the rest of the NL let these bums win the NL Pennant.

I think my strong dislike of both teams has tainted my view of that series. If I’m being honest I think it was a good series if no feelings were involved

Congratulations to Texas. I never mind seeing a team win for the first time. Lots of long suffering fans can rejoice tonight and they’ll remember it forever

There is no way the Phillies beat the Rangers imo
Probably not but you never know, there is absolutely no excuse how they choked away that series. The Dbacks will be in another struggle to make the playoffs next year. An all time terrible Philadelphia loss.

I dont like either team but I enjoyed it other than the games taking so long. Part of that is because the sign stealing by each team and them constantly changing signs .

I’ve always wondered what goes through the closers mind when his team is about to win the World Series, like does he pre-plan his celebration or just go with the moment
