Im not sure if any of the advanced stat guys can answer this, maybe such a stat doesn’t exist, but is there a type of adjusted era for relievers? Like a reliever who is great in 70 games but has a few disastrous ones has the same era as a reliever who consistently gives up a run here and there but avoids giving up big innings. I feel the first would be better due to having more clean innings

I've been advocating for this for a long time. One shit-the-bed outing for a reliever can impact his season-long stats tremendously, even if he is mo' money in almost all of his other appearances. I'll take the guy with a 3.50 ERA who only had one or two awful outings.

Quality Appearance %?

I cannot help but think quantitative analysis wouldn’t have been quite so controversial if Bill James was only 95% asshole instead of the whole enchilada.

Im just saying if the Phillies win this game @DancingPanther is 100% going to bolieve and we need to prepare ourselves for what comes next.
I had fun.

1. Harper demolished that ball. It was the no doubtest of no doubters I've ever seen. It was absolutely unbelievable. I gotta say pretty confidently I was the first one up in my section
2. Loved the bunt by Rojas. Called it in my seat. Was begging Stott to swipe second before that though. It all worked out
3. Speaking of Stott, he hit a homer, made 2 diving plays, and played half the game. Thank God the Angels put a righty in after their starter
4. Not every day you give up runs in 4 straight innings and end up still crushing
5. I love Alec Bohm
6. Turner came up with that triple and the stadium all at once knew they wouldn't lose

Oh and we got some beverages from the pirate guy. Love him.
