He clearly was the problem with the Eagles, and our fortunes changed as soon as he was replaced.

I am not saying Foles is as good as hurts. I am saying Foles was better than Wentz.

Not sure what point you're getting across...that Foles was a slightly better loser than Wentz against the Saints that year?

Keeping Foles over Wentz would've been a very stupid decision.

Now, where Howie messed up was not trading Foles *immediately* once we won the Super Bowl.

- His value would never be higher.
- Wentz wouldn't have to look over his shoulder at the reigning Super Bowl MVP
- Fans wouldn't be clamoring for a career backup to start over an MVP candidate at the first sign of trouble
Trading Wentz right after the super bowl would have netted even more value and the team clearly respected Nick way more than Carson.

Well duh - that's because Carson was a 24 year old MVP candidate. But you don't trade 24 year old MVP candidates. You trade 28 year old journeymen QBs who *miraculously* just won a Super Bowl.

They didn't respect Nick more than Carson. Stop.

Jojo is going to have a conniption when he strolls into this thread.
I'm on my way to having one as we speak. I'm gonna go eat 10 donuts and pass out.

during the 2018 season when wentz was wentzing i believe benny and I were the ones screaming for Foles, and yet you defended your boy. From that point it was clear, he was you boy.

I don't recall being on that train, I think I was pretty set on the Carson train, even though I was wrong !!

@Hollywood Cannon you see that, even benny can admit fault.

My bad benny i thought that was you. I forgot who it was, but some other poster and I were begging to put Foles back in because Carson was Carsoning.
You do realize that I was calling for Hurts to play, I believe, before you were, right?

I did that when Wentz was ACTUALLY playing bad and not in your fantasy world. I have nothing to admit fault to in this situation.
