during the 2018 season when wentz was wentzing i believe benny and I were the ones screaming for Foles, and yet you defended your boy. From that point it was clear, he was you boy.
Yes because keeping Foles over Wentz was and still is a moronic decision.

It’s quite the stance to claim this about Wentz being “out of the league soon” and meanwhile ignoring what Foles has been since that time.

That doesn’t make him my boy.

Keeping Foles over Wentz would've been a very stupid decision.

Now, where Howie messed up was not trading Foles *immediately* once we won the Super Bowl.

- His value would never be higher.
- Wentz wouldn't have to look over his shoulder at the reigning Super Bowl MVP
- Fans wouldn't be clamoring for a career backup to start over an MVP candidate at the first sign of trouble

I admit I wanted Wentz over Foles, I don't regret holding that position to this day.

that wasn't the issue. in 2018 wentz was terrible. Clearly not the same guy and we were getting off to horrendus starts and having to play catch up. As soon as we put in foles we went on a run and almost found ourselves in the superbowl yet again. So clearly the right decision was to put in Foles, anyone who says otherwise ( @Hollywood Cannon ) is being purposely stubborn.

You have a very Foles-colored set of lens in those glasses you're wearing.

I know Foles is a legend here and all, but outside of the 7 TD game & the SB run...he's been painfully Nick Foles on a consistent basis.

Even that New Orleans game you're citing (following the SB), Foles didn't play well enough to win the game. Yeah we "lost by an Alshon drop" - but it was only close because Foles blew after the 1st quarter. Like, not good at all. He showed what he truly is: just a guy.

Wentz was not terrible in 2018 so right off the bat it’s fantasy and not fact.
He clearly was the problem with the Eagles, and our fortunes changed as soon as he was replaced.

I am not saying Foles is as good as hurts. I am saying Foles was better than Wentz.
