I see what you’re saying and I would agree that is a better approach to it. In my mind I’m not as concerned cause I feel like if they can run the ball they’ll be okay, but totally agree on the preference to dictate the game on their terms

For me it must be a mixture of both. Your rb has bad days. Your qb has bad days. You have injuries. And the same goes for your opponent. i think its extremely valuable to be able to play different styles in one game so you can react to different circumstances. In my eyes this is way stronger than try to win the same way every game cause its your strenght
