Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game with the type of focus I'd normally like, but through the first quarter, maybe two quarters, I was still woefully unimpressed with Johnson's playcalling.

Honestly, at this point, with the weapons this team has, I'm not impressed with him.

And perhaps I have unrealistic expectations, but I also feel as if the OL is breaking down a tad quicker than I would have thought, or maybe Jalen is holding on to the ball too much and not bailing out if he needs to, etc.

We need Hurts to play at the level he played at last year, at minimum...or preferably at an even higher level. I think Steichen schemed for him better than Johnson has so far, so maybe they need to go back to the basics.

Also--this was the 2nd game in a row that Swift was the better RB...I'd be leaning heavily on him moving forward.

I feel you. I'm leaning towards Stroud too, but the Fields vs the Broncos at home does have some flavor to it

Surtain is one of the best CBs in the game, and that Chicago OL doesn’t seem particularly great and he’s not making good decisions right now. If Denver forces him to try and beat them through the air I’m expecting a poor game from Fields

I think there is a conspiracy afoot with the Lions' coaching staff to not give Gibbs the ball while I have him in my starting lineup*. #12 pick overall and averaging only 10 carries/game. Two carries for 14 yards (7.0 avg., for those scoring at home) tonight should be leaned on.

* - I think we have all felt this way playing FF.
