I don’t know if this makes sense, but these route combos don’t fit together. That INT was a deep In. The decision to throw it was horrible, but if you’re going to run those routes in the NFL, there needs to be an underneath route to hold the 2nd level or that’s never going to be open.

I’m thinking things about these route combos that go through my head when I watch the Bears. This makes no f***ing sense.

On the replay of the INT it looked like AJ was open downfield, but the camera was behind Hurts. Maybe there was another safety coming over from the left. Probably was, but still a forced throw into double or triple coverage
