Loss isn’t the worst thing in the world if dealt with properly. Use it to refocus to work on problematic areas. We know what to expect now. Problem is can they fix it or game plan? Use the adversity to improve

They’ve had 13 weeks to work on problematic areas, and they were still VERY problematic today.

This team gives off very strong paper tiger vibes.

What even is this league?

All of this QB talk is framed terribly. The question is not whether X or Y is a good QB. It’s whether or not you want to give them the ~45+ AAV on a second contract. Good and on a rookie deal is fine. Good and given that contract is generally not enough.

(But also stop even considering giving these good but not great rookie scale QBs MVP hype. It’s embarrassing.)

*Edit* Thursday is Pats-Steelers without Pickett. OH GOD

There is nothing that I wouldn't give for a 0-0 tie between those two.

The over/under might reach Iowa level O/U's

I agree but there is no single team that’s clear cut above the others. Eagles are certainly still in that group that is in the mix. The loss of Goedert has been huge. Though I do think they disappoint this year given that the expectation/standard is Super Bowl or bust

Not paying them isn’t really possible unless you don’t care about having a cut throat mentality that will most likely sour the players towards your organization. Some type of collusion is needed amongst owners and GM’s to stop giving out ridiculous contracts to every good QB

I said over there that they they gotta start fast and quick, and hope they outlast just enough. Almost the opposite of how their scripts have gone. They lost this game kicking field goals when the 49ers started slow. The urgency was never there until it had to be. You can’t keep doing that because eventually it’ll be too late.

The key to the 49ers losses this year is that they got behind. Brock Purdy has the best rating in the league playing from ahead, and the worst when playing from behind. I like him but he hasn’t had to win many tough games. He’s maybe won two? One was when he was awful against Dallas in the playoffs, who were playing their 4th road game in a row? Make life tough for him.
I actually agree with. Howard said this a couple weeks ago and i some agreed with him too. Needed to get up on them than more than 1 score, they didn't this game and got whipped. I do think the scenario with the schedules had an effect though.

49ers beat the Eagles at their own game -- the offensive possession game. Eagles O markedly worse without Dallas Goeddert, who not only gets open and makes catches consistently, but batters opposing defenses into a pulp.

Still, 4-1 through the gauntlet so far. Not bad at all.

ha ha ha ha ...Collinsworth said their blitzing..thats what they do...and the Chiefs backed off lol

I boycotted the game on principle. SF -3 was all I needed to see to make other plans during the game. Heck I might not even watch the replay.

You realize they were the favorite not because of some conspiracy, but because it's obvious they're a better team?

Put it to you this way, if they played this game at the Link in the playoffs, Vegas wouldn't give the Eagles 3 points. I'd love to be proven wrong in a few weeks but I'm probably correct on this.

speaking of, Tua needed 4 passing yards to hit a parlay bet and was pulled from the game. I think I saw someone from the League or Vegas on the phone with the Dolphins Coach. Not hard to think these things when the major sports jump in bed with gambling. Money has corrupted sports and the joy of watching them for the games themselves.
