I clearly don't understand the rule, but maybe that's what I'm missing?

If the clock is stopped before the penalty occurs there isn't a run off? But if the clock is ticking, there is?
Yup. Team can call a timeout to avoid the runoff if they have one.

I'm on vacation and had to watch the game in Spanish last night and haven't done much social media. What reason are Cowboys fans using for the loss? Refs? Tush Push? The "Who cares we have more rings" classics?

@JojoTheWhale unless they play for the Eagles I don’t really track these guys too much after they leave college so I honestly thought he was headed towards a bust given the general lack of talk around him.

Yep, he’s so good. He’s doing this with a nagging ankle injury too. Not a good spot for a pass rusher injury.

The whole defense has gone nuclear. It took MacDonald a while. There was also a night and day difference from the day of the Roquan Smith trade forward. But it’s almost everyone. Patrick Queen took off to the moon too.

@JojoTheWhale somehow made this happen. I don’t know how but he did.

I hated that goof at ND St. I hated the pick. I thought people were nuts when they said shit like he’s the best rookie QB they’ve ever seen pre-snap (never forgetting that gem). I called him Carson Palmer every second of 2017. I ripped the extension. I ripped everything he ever did.

But I did kinda like Brett Rypien coming out as a backup and I really liked the guy in rehab as a backup, so I’ll take a grumbling partial blame. Sigh.

Never have opinions. It always ends up here. Or as a paid employee of the Flyers. But neither position requires ever being correct.

Nor does being a TV financial pundit.

The trick is to make so many forecasts that you hit on a few, then promote your successes and bury your failures.

The fact that he conned his way out of that huge mistake was ridiculous. I just worry about there being another one and he can't squirm his way out of it.

PFF does this every year because it's what they would do. I would be floored if the NFL loves Bo Nix that much. I don't even know if LAR would take a QB let alone that one.

The other team I mentioned yes.

Whoever takes Caleb over Drake is going to feel dumbness later. That's the kind of terrible decision that gives you CTE.
