So apparantely we have jumped up to the top of the 4th for some reason.
I wonder what we gave up...

EDIT:

Its a 2024 3rd. Not sure that I am a fan of that. Lets see who they pick..

Well if they are as good as we think they'll be, it is essentially the same pick, just a year in advance...for a guy they likely had a 2nd round grade on.

They should have a 3rd round comp pick coming too. They are doing exactly what we thought they would.

Seattle always has success with these big, tight, straight line type corners. Hopefully Desai brings some of the Seattle magic.

Oh I absolutely get the logic. But there is also an opportunity cost to it of course.
Now we are done to I think 9 picks and Howie loves to spend picks at the deadline / moving around the board.

But yeah I certainly won't complain about the Ringo pick. He is very young and is an impressive athlete. I did not like what I have seen from him but there certainly is potential. Maybe they have to move him to safety but certainly worth a late 3rd in 2024 I would say.

Howie is drafting amazingly this year, I've loved every pick, now we need a good running back who doesn't get hurt every snap, and a solid back up tight end, and a linebacker, and we are set

What did we give up?
A 3rd next year

They will have 3 ~top 60 picks next year. They still have ammo.

I guess we should all pay close attention to Georgia games next year to see who we’ll draft. Obviously we won’t know how good these guys are for a few years but I love this draft. Hell, even if we only got Carter and Smith I’d be ecstatic
