We really got after hextall for his nhl talent evaluation. The writing is on the wall that Hayes is the guy they wanted. It’ll be a good early indicator on fletcher and co.

No chance theyd move Patrick already. Frost can easily start on wing like Giroux when hes ready, whether thats in 19-20 or 20-21.

Hell, we could end up losing Hayes in the expansion draft in summer of 2021.

Correct. Can only offer 8 if rostered at the TDL. Whoever's roster player is on at TDL close is the only one who can offer 8.

We needed a middle six center. The contract will be key and hopefully he won't mind shifting to wing in a couple seasons for Frost to be the center. That is if he signs a contract.

I believe what they mean is that the Flyers cannot offer him an 8th year. Odd phrasing for sure.
