Pass first Center who uses his size to shield the puck. Good vision. Will create plays.

Solid defensively, has an active stick and he hustles. Isn’t a great skater but for his size he can move just fine.

Underrated shot that he doesn’t utilize enough. Good teammate and locker room guy.

You will like him on the ice. But, the real question will be his contract.

I thought Hayes wanted to be C and that is why he moved back from RW. When he was Hawk prospect he made it clear he wanted to play C

Not sure why he would sign with team that would then throw him back at wing
