Fletcher is a weird GM. I'm glad Philly hired him before Shero got canned.

Fitz may have a misfire or too, but Fletcher has a real weird approach to analytics and player/roster mix.

This is a pretty big gamble trade. Hextall stocked the cupboards, but bunch of premium picks have gone out the door to remove a liability/cap hit and replace with same for a guy whom isn't a top pairing guy and even if improves is essentially a 3rd pairing/PP specialist.

I can't believe Risto had the year he had (on an admittedly bad Buffalo team), and basically asked out, and was a year away from UFA, and could still fetch this. On the flipside, does this raise Buffalo's ask for all their other potential trade chips?
