If he was right handed, I'd agree, but being a lefty, you really have to standout.

Lots to watch tonight. Phantoms, TK, Provorov - I just wish the Brandon game was on later like other weekdays. It will come down to the feed that's least annoying. Fire up the flux capacitor and have a look at three or for years from now.

Is there a way to watch the phantoms?

He's playing the right side tonight

Ha. I was just about to post that. We'll see how he looks.

Edit: Interested to see if they still play him there when Hagg gets back. Hagg was playing RD before he got hurt and I think he's a better fit there.

I don't know if you're listening to his interview, but he is saying that Scott Gordon said he'll start him on the right side, which means he'll probably go back to the left soon (likely when Hagg gets back).

Also, interesting to note: he says Morin plays mean and that he wants to learn to play like that.

Yeah. Just heard it. Good stuff. Also MacDonald isn't happy to be there.

Just because a kid is better than a veteran doesnt mean that a kid playing in the NHL too soon wont hurt his development and prevent him from reaching his max ceiling. We've seen it time and time again (Hi, Luke Schenn).

Hextall don't play that.

This keeps getting regurgitated constantly and I just don't get it. It just seems convenient to blame a kid who didn't pan out as expected on coming into the NHL too soon.

Provide to me that Luke Schenn, or any other player, wouldn't have been the exact same player had he played 5 years in the AHL.

Sometimes, players just don't pan out - and it's not always because of being thrown into the NHL too soon.

Watching Gostisbehere play makes it easier to tolerate this season. He's going to make such a huge difference when he comes to the NHL... He's exactly what we need. I can't wait for like 3 years in the future when most off our prospects are in the NHL.

Tkachuk's factored in all of London's 6 goals so far tonight. Konecny has an assist but it looks like he's going fall to back in the OHL scoring race after tonight. Dvorak's passed him by a point & Marner's a point away from him too.

So yeah it's going to be tough to fend those guys off as London has hit their stride & are just smoking teams offensively right now.
