Oh, do you mean your on your stomach with the laptop in front of you? I thought you meant you were laying in bed or something with the laptop on your stomach. My buddy did that for a few years and now has a neck like 32 years older then he is.

That and the fact that, you know, the unlimited money and no cap ceiling.

Yep. Was just looking at Devils drafts through 1990's and 2000's. Rarely added more than one player per year.

Lmao, you were looking at the Devils draft record in the 90's and think they rarely added more then a player per year? from 1990 to 1999 they drafted 27 players that played over 300 games (and a handful just under) including 3 guys that are or likely will be in the HoF. In the 2000's when they rarely drafted inside the top 20 and traded away a handful of 1st round picks they still drafted 11 over 300.

What do you think good drafting looks like?

Phantoms followed-up a 12 shot first period with a 3 shot second, and have 2 shots thru first half of the third. I guess they do play the same system as the Flyers. Is it really possible for both the NHL and AHL teams to suck that bad at the same time

After the 1990 (Brodeur) draft, the bulk of the players cited who played more than 300 games were middle of the road types (Scott Parker, Alyn McCauley, etc) who played the bulk of their careers somewhere other than NJ.

For all the home grown picks like Brodeur, Elias, Sykora, Niedermayer etc., a majority of their top players, particularly the forwards, came from either trades or free agent signings.

Phantoms finally outshot someone by a substantial margin and lose 6-3. Go figure.

Was just watching LV game vs Hershey which we are losing and noticed Matt Strome is playing for Hershey . Also no Brooks or Marody for LV they must be injuried .

Of course, they bring them in for depth and insurance against injuries, and of course they're injured.
