Avon was 1C most of the year.
Don't know about most of the year but yeah. Lots of combinations possible with these additions. Peterborough has by far the best and deepest top9 even at the Memorial Cup. Most of them can play Center as well and are completely dominating faceoffs. Even 4C Jax Dubois is valuable as well. Big, solid against the puck and dominating faceoffs as well.

Defense is a bit more questionable and I'm not the greatest fan of their goalie either. Michael Simpson has been good overall but gives up lots of soft goals like just now. Game tied 1-1.

You may see them more, I mostly watched the Hamilton games. Dubois is a beast, great on forecheck.

What position does Robertson play? I think Avon has been LW.

I think Robertson has been the Petes top Center this season but I watch mostly playoffs, not much of the regular season. Robertson can play wing as well. He did so at times last season for sure.

Lockhart, Robertson, Avon and Melee can play and have played both Center and Wing.

Lol some posts really don't age well .

Yeah a bit delusional. No one can match Seattle's forwards.

Was surprised Quebec took it to Kamloops in Game 1. I think the 3 best teams in the CHL are from the WHL.

Rochette is not some late bloomer. He's been a prospect for some time. Not sure why a playoff run should determine a contract or not. That seems like bad process. :dunno:

I've always thought he was JAG, but they've made worse signings.

I don't think Avon has enough offensive chops for the top 6, but as he fills out, with that speed, he could be a holy terror in the bottom six on the forecheck and on the PK. Certainly a steal as a UDFA.

if he becomes a pro player it is a steal. way to early to call him a steal at this point.

Avon has a good frame, great speed (fastest skater in the OHL two years running) and enough offensive chops to capitalize on scoring chances.
That's a bottom six profile.
Peterborough has a weird scoring profile:

Robertson 68g 36-54 90 [PO 23g 9-13 22] (#123-2022)
Lockhart 66g 29-59 78 [23g 7-9 16] (#178-2021)
Avon 59g 29-31 60 [23g 9-6 15] (UDFA-2021)
Stillman 59g 19-29 48 [21g 4-9 13] (#29-2021)
Othmann 40g 18-25 43 [23g 8-17 25] (#16-2021)
Hayes 32g 16-20 36 [22g 12-7 19] (undrafted 2021)
Beck 30g 7-18 25 [22g 8-8 16] (#33-2022)

ES only
Robertson 68g 20-39 59 [23g 8-10 18]
Lockhart 66g 23-26 49 [23g 5-7 12]
Avon 59g 17-24 41 [23g 8-4 12]
Stillman 59g 14-24 38 [21g 4-8 12]
Othmann 40g 14-14 28 [20g 7-13 20]
Hayes 32g 9-14 23 [22g 9-8 17]
Beck 30g 7-13 20 [22g 6-8 14]

Now compare to Gendron (ES scoring)
