quick, someone jinx the other one

Well that went about as expected.

I cant wait for gallant to be fired.

Also, harpur needs to be waived. I would rather see hajek at this point.

I hope in the playoffs they are able to play a little more win puck battle game. We know the skill is there but there can't be too many cooks in the kitchen.

That was my least favorite goalie pull of all-time and that's covering some f***ing ground.

John Milton saw that coming and he's blind and dead.

The ref could have just announced "Senators win" after the timeout and I would have been like "no, yeah, fair enough."

What amazing effort on the Rangers' part to retrieve that puck too.

Travel has added to the fatigue IMO. Another 4 on the road and who knows when they will have a full roster. It could be a problem.

Won’t they have a full roster when Miller comes back? Do they have to send someone down when he’s off suspension?

BTW, I'll give you guys playing shorthanded, I'll also give you guys playing with no Lindgren but I do find it funny that less than a week ago people were saying that Miller was not an NHL level defenseman and now he's a big loss.

The Rangers have given up on a breakout pass-based game and have gone back to stretch passes because they know that they are a mostly rush team. Their whole defense to offense is trying to create an odd man rush and get behind the opposing defense. When the opposing defense is aggressive, it is effective. Against defensive teams, they're discombobulated. The defensemen and the supporting forward do not know what to do when the lanes area shut. Absolutely no idea how to skate it up ice because they are at a standstill instead of being in motion on the walls. They're always static or even moving back towards the defensemen because the stretch pass game starts with a touch pass off the supporting forward to the moving forward and then to the forward who's up ice.

With all these “stars” on this team now the Laf, Kappo debacle really will get buried but those two are really gigantic issues. Kappo still shows something in terms of puck retrieval and down low play but Laf has gone full witness protection recently. I mean he’s just not even a factor is almost every game and it’s a very fine line between being useless and an actual detriment to the team. He’s pretty close to the latter.

I’ll give him some excuses but really his ability to do anything with any sense of speed is really not there. Like he gets the puck and it just dies. He can’t move it up with any speed. He’s going to be a real liability moving forward.
Again, I'm going to wait until next week to start analyzing his game. Right now any analysis is meaningless given the crazy circumstances.

No matter who is hurt, playing or not playing we currently have a D corps of Adam Fox (really, really good player) and 5 other guys who can't pass or skate with the puck and did nothing to address the problem.

We must be watching different games. He just had a stretch where he was averaging a PPG and I think he's been playing really well. I don't look at 1 game samples.
