We're the only franchise in the NHL that says to our young forwards hey we're trading for really great forwards that you guys look up to but sorry, you're never allowed to be on the ice with them.
This franchise would have managed to find a way to ruin Ovechkin and Crosby.

OV would have been benched into oblivion for not playing defense, and Crosby would have played behind Nylander and Rucchin coming out of the lockout because "hE nEeDs too EArN iT" and stunted his development.

It's almost as if they go out of their way to suppress the natural instincts of their young players and break them down until they forget what made them good before putting on the Rangers jersey.

I thought they looked pretty good for the most part. Talbot played well so did Ottawa in general. Our D are gassed and Harpur needs to go. Drury needs to get a defenseman before the weekend
First two periods were good imo and I can understand them being gassed in the third.

I'm just having a whinge because the Sens scored the winner while Alexi "Complete Level" Lefresgu was lying on the ice crying because an actually good young player bumped into him.

This is true but also Lafreniere sucks. Both are true.

Honestly he just looked tried from lugging way more minutes the last few games than at any other point in his NHL career.
I’ll give him some excuses but really his ability to do anything with any sense of speed is really not there. Like he gets the puck and it just dies. He can’t move it up with any speed. He’s going to be a real liability moving forward.

yeah he did not see the hit, but Claude Giroux won this game alone almost: 1 goal + 2 assist and we had too many turnovers

Hopefully Kane will give give Bread face some feedback about his "cross ice through 3 guys" passes and not being able to one time a shot, because clearly nobody else will.

That's unfair. That was a hard hit and it stung for a bit. Laf is one the doesn't shy away from contact.

PP just couldn’t put it in, but were getting chances.

That PP1 in the playoffs should get like 1:45 of every PP, the second unit is just a mish mash of talent, sucks for Tank, but what can you do?

Well ya that’s no power play time for you
You might want to check their PP time over that span. Consitently around 1 min+, including being the top 3 in PP TOI during the Caps game.
They haven't been particularly good at EV or on the PP for a while now

The defense will be better, I think including Mikkola, when they get bodies back.

Nobody has any idea who they're covering, where their partner is, or what side they should even be on (this is always true of Schneider but I digress).

It's not like they're just double shifting Fox and Trouba in that spot. It's a full rotation with almost a different combo every time.

I get it in the regular season, but it's hard to watch.
