Honestly watching on TV it doesn't really make much a difference since I'm seeing them play in all of them.

However, my $0.02 is if the Avs are going to call their "Third" the divisional contest jersey, they should make an alternate white version to wear on the road when playing divisional rivals as well.

Oh, man, I love the alt sweater. Best of the bunch IMHO.

It looks crisp when it's hanging in the closet, but the uniform navy blue against the white ice just makes it drab during games. Instead of the sharp contrast of the burgundy and blue against the white of the ice, it's just one big slab of very dark blue that makes it almost look like black on white. I hate them every time I see them.

On the main board I wrote that it never should have changed but that now it seems odd to go back.
That said, allowing a bit of choice is good.
Think of Sweden.
Those gold and blues they use as whites are awesome. It's actually weird to see them in their blue and gold "home" sweaters.
If all the red teams can face all the blue teams in their non-whites whenever they feel like it, that's not a bad thing.
