Post-Game Talk: PGT: Rangers @ Sabres 4/19/13

The common thread in any game the Rangers have played this season where they actually score bunches of goals: No Brian Boyle.
 
LOL @ people saying we should've pulled hank at 5/6-0

Get real, that doesn't happen.

If torts tried to pull hank when it was 6-0, he would've told torts to go **** himself and stay on the ice.

Extremely happy they got the two points.

I have never seen a collection of such terrible goals in my life of watching hockey above the mite level.

Hopefully the Rangers didn't use up their goal allotment for the next 4 games.

Seriously, what a shot. Right off the ice, painted for the five-hole. Lucky it snuck through Enroth, but more often that kind of shot is going to create a great rebound opportunity.

Like Moore more and more every game ;)

He proved that he's way too far down the depth chart on our team. MDZ regressed a lot in these games... CAR, TOR, NYI, BUF. The physicality and defensive play of Moore has proven superior. Offensively, one is a great defensive offensive defenseman and the other is a great (though not executing) offensive defenseman.
 
Anyone else realize brad richards pretty much single handedly eliminated buffalo from the playoff race with a hat-trick after playing against kaleta for the first time since "the incident"?

Talk about REVENGE.:laugh:
 
Hey, I just realized, with Buffalo eliminated, I think I'm guaranteed playoffs now! Er, wait, unless NJ wins all their games and the Rangers and Jets lose all theirs. If that doesn't happen, then I'm guaranteed at least one of the Rangers and Jets are in at this point! Hopefully both if we can take down the Caps. :handclap:

Well it's still stupid as hell that Pyatt plays in the top 9 while our best prospect gets 4th line duties. Pyatt is the new Boyle except Boyle is actually great defensively, PKs, wins faceoffs and is not as slow as Pyatt. I'm still wondering what it is exactly Pyatt brings to our team.
 
I was pretty agitated that Kreider didn't get more time.

Not sure what Torts is doing in that aspect.
