That’s fair but only goalies left are Simpson, Sztuska and 2 16 year olds…Don't really disagree with any of the cuts to be honest

The goaltending situation is somewhat concerning and I'm not sure what the best plan is.That’s fair but only goalies left are Simpson, Sztuska and 2 16 year olds…
It's an equally bad look committing to a player, dragging him around as a third stringer all season, then dumping him without ever giving him a chance.Sztuska has looked good in camp but what happens when the real deal starts do you watch him get creamed then make a desperation trade bad look on us.
It would… but our GM has already stated he won’t use an OA on a backup goalie. Simpson has been appointed the #1 goalie alreadyDo we think that one of Medina/Onuska and Josh Currie to the Pete’s make sense?
I expect that Connor Lockhart will score his share of points and likely will have more points that Sam Alfano. That is how trades work. You have to give up value to get value.Sam Alfano with 1G ((powerplay) and 1A in Eries first agme yesterday. Then scored in the shootout
Oh i had no idea how trades work, thanks for that.I expect that Connor Lockhart will score his share of points and likely will have more points that Sam Alfano. That is how trades work. You have to give up value to get value.
I expected to see Rye added along with them. Maybe he will come later onMcCue and Lefebvre added to preseason roster.
I saw some of the game online and the Petes looked good, dominated but the Gens sat a lot of their key guys so the score not surprising. Having said that, it is a good sign for the Petes. I think it was Guryev that clobbered some kid in the corner who went off holding his arm. It was a clean hit but I wish Guryev would hold off on making the big hits as he is prone to penalties. I like the look of Lockhart, a good skater and good on the PK.Easy win over the Gnes today. Wasnt able to make it and the stream was pretty bad so didnt get too much of a watch but wil be there next weekend against Subury. Hopefully they play there top guys and we can get a better feel for what we are
They will probably get one from Hamilton and I am sure its one of those back door deals that involved trading McTavish last year.Who are your ideal targets for those 2 spots? I think Hill from sarnia would look good in the third line centre spot
I think Alfano was a great return for us. He’s certainly doing more for us than Lockhart. It’s unfortunate because Lockhart was supposed to be more of a player than he turned out to be. That’s partially on us for having the lack of talent/development in the last few years. A change in scenery is good see Sproule as an example.I expect that Connor Lockhart will score his share of points and likely will have more points that Sam Alfano. That is how trades work. Should work out well for both teams. Lockhart is probably the more impactful player this season and that's what the Petes needed but Alfano is a very good player in his own right and brings an extra year of eligibility, some size etc... I hope he has a great season in Erie and if he gets his skating up, he could have a really bright future.I think Alfano was a great return for us. He’s certainly doing more for us than Lockhart. We had a meet and greet yesterday and Alfano was very pleasant and Erie is happy he’s here. He’s exciting to watch.

I think a Piercey out of Flint or an OA like Constantini or Lennox.
I did not watch much of the game but from what I read the Petes played well. I don’t think the fact that Oshawa sat out some of their top players was a factor as we also had a number of players sitting out like JR Avon, Nick Lardis, Justin DeZoete, Shawn Spearing and Donovan McCoy.I saw some of the game online and the Petes looked good, dominated but the Gens sat a lot of their key guys so the score not surprising.
