Thanks for the detailed feedback.Robertson is having a great year and he has often been dominant but I'm not sure how quickly or how well that translates in his next step to pro.
IMO, he'll never be a top 6 guy in the NHL but he has the tools to be a solid 3rd/4th line center. He is a good face-off guy, a relentless checker, wins more puck battles than he loses and has a knack for stripping pucks off opposing players' sticks. He has been an ironman for the Petes during his time here - one of the most consistent players when it comes to his effort each and every game.
Robertson is good on the PK and his hockey IQ is high level making him a player who raises the level of play for his line-mates.
IMO the speed of the game at the next level will be the biggest hurdle in his adjustment.
Seattle could end up being a great fit for his development.
I wish him all the best next year.
I don't think there is any immediate expectation from Robertson. We have prospects like Goyette, Robertson, Melanson, Firkus, and Winterton who may end up being NHL players in hopefully another 2-3 seasons in juniors + AHL. I don't expect all of them to be ready at the same time or even make it there but there is no immediate rush from the Kraken's POV.
