Robertson is having a great year and he has often been dominant but I'm not sure how quickly or how well that translates in his next step to pro.

IMO, he'll never be a top 6 guy in the NHL but he has the tools to be a solid 3rd/4th line center. He is a good face-off guy, a relentless checker, wins more puck battles than he loses and has a knack for stripping pucks off opposing players' sticks. He has been an ironman for the Petes during his time here - one of the most consistent players when it comes to his effort each and every game.
Robertson is good on the PK and his hockey IQ is high level making him a player who raises the level of play for his line-mates.
IMO the speed of the game at the next level will be the biggest hurdle in his adjustment.

Seattle could end up being a great fit for his development.
I wish him all the best next year.
Thanks for the detailed feedback.

I don't think there is any immediate expectation from Robertson. We have prospects like Goyette, Robertson, Melanson, Firkus, and Winterton who may end up being NHL players in hopefully another 2-3 seasons in juniors + AHL. I don't expect all of them to be ready at the same time or even make it there but there is no immediate rush from the Kraken's POV.

It came from Oke and Wilson was told at start of year stop trying to put it on the executive?

Always defending Oke? Real strange explain yourself? Lol
Why is there a question mark even when you’re not asking questions?

You always come on here spewing gibberish about how you hate Oke but can’t explain why. I’ve explained many times why he’s not the problem. Not my fault you can’t read.

Also, I don’t think you’ve ever said a positive thing about the Petes. If watching them causes you so much anguish then maybe stop?

I said that Oke and Wilson decided to go all in. I was reframing what someone else asked
Ok , sorry man just a lot of nonscence on here, people blaming players young teenagers , for loses. Blame the adults not the players people they are all terrific players! They deserve our support! The Adults deserve the criticism

Gibberish is blaming our goalie who has won us many many games by standing on his head! Every player goes through ups and downs over a season .Further more I don’t hate Oke, I don’t even know him. But on this site were all are allowed our opinions.

Good morning Petes fan really looking forward to the game tonight as despite recent ups/down by both teams I still see the Petes/ NB/ 67's as the top three. All year I've been wanting to see how we match up with the top teams with a full lineup and there is a chance we might have it tonight for the first time this year. I hope the Petes are at full strenght also? No big injuries for you guys ongoing?

Should be a healthy lineup for the Petes tonight. I’m expecting both teams to come out strong especially with the 67s losing 2 of their last 3 and the Petes 4 of their last 5.
It will not be easy for either team - might as well start playing playoff-style hockey early :thumbu:

Petes will win tonight then somehow find a way to lose tomorrow my prediction. They seem to play better against top teams and worse against teams below them almost reminds me of the leafs lol

You clearly don’t have a clue. Petes lose 4-2 vs Hamilton (with and empty net goal against) two of the three goals let in by the Petes goalie were incredibly soft those two goals lost us the game.

Game Vs Guelph. Petes lose 5-3 (with an EN against) Simpson literally gives Guelph a goal in the first two minutes and then let’s in a horribly weak unscreened soft slap shot from the boards above the circles.

Petes win both games without the soft goals against. We don’t live in the past of the beginning of the season, we live in the now and it’s about what you’ve done for me lately.

Also, you’ve been saying for year how much you dislike Oke and want him fired but can never back it up with and reason or substance. You also NEVER say ANYTHING positive about the Petes.

Not a good night for the "Simpson isn't a big part of the problem" posts... Looked like he had 2 blockers on in that 3rd period. 2 muffins from the point and he drops both them, both immediately end up in the net and OTT wins in regulation

Petes fans can take solace in the fact that I had the over 7.0 so their offensive woes cost me money, at least

Third line on for all three goals against, basically unplayable against a top team. The balanced lines were abandoned pretty quickly but not surprising with the idiot behind the bench.

Anyone putting that loss on Simpson is... well, we can all see who it is.

That's a bit dramatic. Petes did not look like a 3-7 team in they're last ten. They played a good game and could have won.
Just because they looked good in one game (which they lost) doesn’t change the standings over the last 52 games and last 10.

They are trending to out of the playoffs. They are 7 points out of 9th with the Wolves having two games in hand. They are on pace to be in 8th in less than 10 games at the current pace.

Look I can't deny they are underperforming considering the talent on that team but I would be surprised if they finish lower than fifth. The talent will eventually surface, just my opinion. If they play like tonight they will win a lot of games.

They play well against good teams and play down to lower teams

I don't understand blaming Wilson for the loss and what do you suggest for line combinations?

The Petes played pretty well tonight and even in the third were mostly the better team, until they weren't.

You could take tons of positives from that game, if they hadn't played like dog shit for the ten before it.

The ones that they used when they rolled Oshawa last Thursday.

I would have thought they would have pulled ahead of those teams months ago, but it has been almost the whole season now and they are in a dogfight from 4th to 9th.

A big game tomorrow night in Kingston…though I guess they are all big when we are almost in March.
