Yes because you can’t be half in it’s all in or nothing. They will be able to move guys next year for picks. The rebuild is gonna be a couple years anyways to me this is their chance to go for itHonest question. Are you willing to part with both Lardis and JVV? I think an all in would require it.
You’d have to trade one of the two in a big move and the other one would need to be traded mostly for picks to add to the one big move. Then add an impact OA with the left over picks.
I know as an Ottawa fan, I am wanoting Morrison and DelMastro. I think that combo fits Peterborough as well. I think the only way to get that done is by using both Lardis and JVV plus the last top 4 picks left int he Petes cupboard.
The returning team would be decimated.
This makes so little sense to me. Half measures all around, a basically lateral move with Panwar - Michaud, a fine Dman but no massive upgrades and beyond all that, if you're going out of your way to preserve JVV and Lardis for next year, why the heck would you trade Guo.I think you can get Jesus and Michaud fairly cheap. They are depth players but when added to a strong roster, they can become solid complimentary players. Panwar and Guo plus a 3rd, 5th and 6th may be enough to get that done. 2nd, 3rd, and 7th for Duarte?
It may not be completely accurate but I think it may be close. You’d still have a 2nd as a sweetener in there somewhere If necessary.
You keep both Lardis and JVV.
Your an asshole!Worst damn OA in the league. Pile of stinking trash….

Who are you moving for picks?Yes because you can’t be half in it’s all in or nothing. They will be able to move guys next year for picks. The rebuild is gonna be a couple years anyways to me this is their chance to go for it
Simpson should get a decent return. Lockhart will likely be back.Who are you moving for picks?
If I scroll back to the projected lineup a few posts back, you’d have 10 graduating forwards and 3-4 graduating D-Men. The remaining players I’ll have little value. It would be a stretch to assume you’d have Uber high value returning OAs.
I’m not sure the rebuild would go as smoothly as you assume.
For argument sake, let’s assume it is Morrison and Moore.Simpson should get a decent return. Lockhart will likely be back.
Okay then start selling guys off now then and build for another yearFor argument sake, let’s assume it is Morrison and Moore.
Graduating:
Othmann
Morrison
Stillman
Abon
Robertson
Lockhart
Lardis (traded for picks to get Morrison and Moore)
Dubois
Purdeller
Panwar
Mayer
Zanetti
Spearing
Some of those may return as OAs. But that is a ton of roster spots to fill next season. You’d have no draft picks other than your 1st and 6ths assuming all your picks vanish in all in deals.
You’d still have JVV unless the deals are Morrison and DelMaatro in which case you wouldn’t have him.
The team would be built around Melee, Lockhart (until traded), Dezoete, McCoy, Guo, JVV and Moore? Delete JVV and Moore if it is a full send.
That is a rough roster. No picks through 2026. Outside of Lockhart as an OA, there really isn’t much there. It would be a very hard team to watch.
Are you sure you want to dig a hole that deep? That’s Niagara 2.0 territory but worse.
I think that is too scary to get to.
Couldn’t agree moreAll the different scenarios trading for this guy or that. Stand pat or go all in.
End of the day if you do nothing your still very weak next cpl years. If you go all in even weaker next cpl years.
All scenarios point to a slow rebuild. So from a business and fan point of view going all in is the only move that makes sense. Put an exciting team on the ice get some playoff hockey, get into playoffs and anything can happen. Remember when Oshawa sold off to Niagara then beat Niagara out. It’s junior hockey even the worst team can beat the best team on any given night.
Standing pat hurts fans and the Pete’s already small pocket book. Next few years will be quiet at the PMC might aswell make some noise while you can.
Two goals now for Panwar.....both while he was behind the Hamilton net.Worst damn OA in the league. Pile of stinking trash….

Stay tuned for hat-trick update.
Great effort.....not quite enoughSmelly bucket of sewer water. Swill fished out of a port-a-potty…
DAMMIT! I wasted another solid insult that can’t be pulled out again.Great effort.....not quite enough
Absolutely agree with this. I mentioned this a few weeks ago and it really seems like the best option to at least give it your true best shot. Gonna be a tough rebuild as is, might as well just go for itAll the different scenarios trading for this guy or that. Stand pat or go all in.

Omg67 who’s next on your list to call out
Robertson Avon Lockhart- not elite. Lighting it up
Panwar- not worth keeping. 2 goal night
Who’s next.
This is all in good fun. But I would like to see if you can keep giving us the 67s bump
Just noticed Belanger is hurt maybe he’s done for the season does anyone know?Ian lemieux to Kingston. Would imagine now Kingston moves Roger or Belanger as they have 4 OA’s

Late bloomer......happy for him!Good for him but absolutely no one should have any regrets in cutting him and going with Simpson. obviously no one has said they have regrets but just reiterating a good choice that was made
Purdeller won’t be graduatingFor argument sake, let’s assume it is Morrison and Moore.

Dubois probably won’t either but the point is they can only keep three and the three they keep would not be heavy value on the trade market outside of Lockhart If he returns.Purdeller won’t be graduating
