Leaving it in AZ.I'm confused. If the Yotes do relocate to Utah, are they taking their history or 'leaving' it in AZ?

Thank you bro!Leaving it in AZ.
I did your homework for you. As stated above, AZ is faster growing and the team has never been given a chance to thrive. But you would know that if you paid attention to hockey.Just google it. It's pretty common knowledge Utah is one of the fastest growing states. All the numbers are there
Arizona doesnt want the Coyotes. They've proven that time and again. Now it's Utah's turn
Not quite what you’re likely looking for, but Gordie, Mark, and Marty Howe all played together on the Whalers in 79-80, which obviously ended up moving to Carolina over a decade later.Idk if this was asked, but has another father-son duo ever played for the same franchise that ended up moving?
Yep they were the first players who came to mind and immediately told myself that doesn’t count. Not quite what you’re likely looking for, but Gordie, Mark, and Marty Howe all played together on the Whalers in 79-80, which obviously ended up moving to Carolina over a decade later.
Dam! I know how that feels. There’s just no words. So sorry for the Yotes fans.

Actually, Bobby Hull played for WPG and Brett played 5 games for PHX!Yep they were the first players who came to mind and immediately told myself that doesn’t count.
But Brett didn’t play with them when they moved.Actually, Bobby Hull played for WPG and Brett played 5 games for PHX!
Phoenix is a lucrative media market with a substantial corporate base unlike [insert backwater Canadian town here]. The NHL will be back.I know. The NHL isn't interested in reliving this nightmare...a pro team in a rinky dink college arena? I mean towards the end it became really embarrassing
No other franchise was kept on life support and given this many chances. Now the plug has been pulled and there is no going back
Should’ve been Houston
Secondary market tickets for the last Coyotes game start at $1100 right now
TSN and Sportsnet will hear none of this logic. None of it. lolPhoenix is a lucrative media market with a substantial corporate base unlike [insert backwater Canadian town here]. The NHL will be back.
Naw, the issue is Ferrita doesn't want to pay a premium for a franchise. Smith clearly does.Houston probably wants an expansion team rather than the Coyotes

If anything I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jets relocate to Phoenix in a few years...again.TSN and Sportsnet will hear none of this logic. None of it. lol
Yup - I seem to recall for a while there was talk about Houston as a possible expansion, or relocation, but then Ferrita told the BoG he has no intention of paying the expansion fee nor fair market value…Well hello SLC.Naw, the issue is Ferrita doesn't want to pay a premium for a franchise. Smith clearly does.

Lol Winnipeg is actually colder and smaller in population than Quebec City (metro area). 839k for Quebec City and 834k for Winnipeg according to the 2021 census. They can be ready all they want but a colder city smaller than Winnipeg where nobody who isn't francophone is gonna want to play, where the canadian dollar is 70 cents, the economy is in shambles with no end in sight, is not a viable option long term. It's a beautiful city. It's not an NHL city.
