Lost in all this is that the Leafs don't have a goal tonight. Bernier hasn't been good tonight, but you can't win if you don't score, and the Leafs don't score for Bernier at all. 5 goals in his 6 starts thus far.

Really? With the comments here, you would think Bernier has to bail out the defense for every mistake they make or have a vezina calibre performance every game.
Really. Didn't the first post that was quoted ask for .900 save% goaltending?

Look up how many goalies met that save% last year (and prior), it'll be the majority.

.910 seems to be the new standard for a starter.

Bozak just gets exposed when he is not playing with someone who can control the play offensively. You can really notice it.

Which explains why Babcock switched it up.
JVR has been good than Bozak come on, and JVR gets a minus

Bozak was switched up. Not promoted at all

It's called agenda.

Kadri has been decent so Babcock is trying him with wingers so he can get others scoring

Bozak on the other hand, Babcock isn't happy I don't think

Usually poor play is rewarded with a move down the line up,not up.You might know this if you watched anything more than Kadr and Bozak.

But it is disheartening to see your goalie give up a softie. The mentality changes from there.

I think the saddest thing is that we won't even get to a full page, on Saturday night, on Kessel's return.

How can a team that already has scoring problems manage to score when Bernier gives up softies every game?

He gave up the first goal again on a shot he should have saved...instead he had no idea where it was and it was tapped in.

Wrong

Bozak was switched up and line fails as soon as he came
While new wingers of Kadri got some energy
Looks like it wasn't demotion
