He has all the tools to be a very good goalie, but he seems to be fragile between the ears.

In saying that, if it gets us a top 3 pick for the first time in 3 decades, I'll be thrilled.

The way people are talking about him, yes. He was crapped on even though he had a .912 sv % last year. It won't change this year for sure.

League average was .915 last year. Should we be happy about below that?

I'm a goalie...i wouldn't know. Honest question. I personally wouldn't like getting hit. It has never bothered me, but I've never wanted to get hit.

I don't know about that. He's very on and off. When he's on, top 10 for sure, when he's not, he looks downright aweful. Overall i don't think he's top 10, average at best above above.

Certainly beatable.

That was problem; consistency. He used to allow awful goals at the wrong time, but it seems he figured it out. .920 sv % last year and .937 sv % this year.

Considering what it could have been, absolutely. If .915 was a team in the middle, yet he was only a couple points below that on a bottom 5 team. That is pretty damn good.
