This guy is a goalie that some people think is the best in the league. You'd expect him to shut the ****ing door and steal a game for the Rangers. Even last night, he was good, but he still gave up two goals. Tonight he's had very little to do, and he's given up two goals through two periods. Don't ****ing make excuses for him. If he's as good as people say he is, he should be coming up with a lot more big saves. Right now Fleury is completely outplaying him.

Okay, if my goalie was only giving up two goals a game, I'd expect my team to win 4 out of 5.

I'm still sticking to what I said in another thread.

Nash + Hags + 1st for AO.

Buyout Richards and poach Stastny. Look at Edmonton and trade them some of our D. Hell, they might be interested in Talbot.

The sort of chances this team generates fit Fleury's game perfectly. We never score on rebounds.

Going into this series it was obvious this is how it would go. We won Game 1 on adrenaline. The Pens realized they are the vastly superior team and flush us down the toilet. The sad part is Malkin hasnt really done anything, if he gets going anytime soon here then, well it will get worse. No wait I take that back, Fleury getting consecutive shutouts, thats the sad thing, Fleury.........

Pens havent realized nor are they vastly superior...The Rangers are beating themselves... But have no fear...The 3rd is ours...were gonna tie this thing up...LGR!!!!!!!!!

Right. 3 posts - a total of 6 inches between a 3-2 game

Coach isn't the problem is the team... Coaches constantly are the scape goat but not anymore... It's this group of individuals(they're not even a team)

CBC just showed a replay of Hank on that last goal, barelyit is really his faulteven tapping his stick, to let his team know Jokinen was coming out of the box. That goals on him now.

Zuccarello causes a breakaway. Zucarello fan tells us that goalie did not slam stick so it is his fault.

Great analysis.

Hey, The Mighty Ducks is on HBO Family. Now THERE'S a team that can come through in key moments.

We need to come back and tie this game. We need to get a lucky bounce and then pepper the **** out of Fleury. Come on guys. Do it come out strong and get 'er done

I also can't wait for MSL to end a streak of like a decade as a point per game player when he nets like 22 goals and 30 assists for 52 total points next season.

As long as the score is close enough that a mediocre, or even just slightly a bad PP could/would make all the difference it's the coach inability to coach.

i agree, changes needed to be made.
even if you put boyle out jost to be in fleury's face

Let's be serious though. We never had a chance against Boston, who I expect to make it to the conference finals. In the St. Louis deal, if we make it to the conference finals, the 2nd round pick turns into a 1st. No point in making it to the conference finals when we'll just get swept by Boston, and lose the higher pick in the process.

I said this the last 3 years at least, this team has a bunch of guys that can't get it done in the playoffs. Stepan's game is not made for the playoffs. I don't know why. The just disappears when the going gets tough. Thankfully we got rid of Callahan that was another scrub during playoff time. Nash, is a joke. Thank God the D plays well and Lundqvist once in a while has great games, we'd be one and out every year with these forwards we have.

I understand the hate on Hank right now, because I understand HF logic, which is usually wrong. Color me hesitant to blame the goalie when we haven't scored a goal in five periods.

I mean, Hank's faced three breakaways today. He's saved one. If he comes up with a HUGE, and I mean HUGE save on one of the other two, we're looking at a 1-0 game here. Better? You bet. But we're still losing.

HF, I need to quit you, but I can't :(
