Holy crap. This is a joke.

He's faced 14 shots and he's given up two goals. I don't care about the circumstance. Excuses should be used for bad goals. If Hank is as good as people say he is, the circumstances shouldn't matter. The best goalies make big saves regardless of how difficult they are. The Crosby goal was really bad. The Jokinen goal wasn't that bad, but still, the best goalies come up with huge saves.

Coach isn't the problem is the team... Coaches constantly are the scape goat but not anymore... It's this group of individuals(they're not even a team)

How ridiculous for someone to expect a coach to make a bunch of individuals play like team.

Why is buyout Nash even an option?

He's still very tradable.

Richards isn't.

I should be sleeping ... got class at 2 pm though ... that's a lot of time for sleep actually.

Any Euros left here?

Hank is cool. Chill ffs! We need to hit the net, from the inside!

This guy is a goalie that some people think is the best in the league. You'd expect him to shut the ****ing door and steal a game for the Rangers. Even last night, he was good, but he still gave up two goals. Tonight he's had very little to do, and he's given up two goals through two periods. Don't ****ing make excuses for him. If he's as good as people say he is, he should be coming up with a lot more big saves. Right now Fleury is completely outplaying him.

I'm the first one to bash Hank for bad goals. Neither one of those goals were Hank's fault. It's absolutely ridiculous to be blaming him for this.

Let's be serious though. We never had a chance against Boston, who I expect to make it to the conference finals. In the St. Louis deal, if we make it to the conference finals, the 2nd round pick turns into a 1st. No point in making it to the conference finals when we'll just get swept by Boston, and lose the higher pick in the process.
Either way the St.Louis deal looks pretty bad. I didnt care about callahan but considering St.Louis has only scored 3 total goals since coming here and is 38 tampa bay picked up a couple of high picks

Everyone calm down.

This game is toast. We have a day off tomorrow, and get to come back with a chance to TIE the series Wednesday back at home and make it 2-2.

Sky isn't falling….

yet.

Yeah, man. Agreed. The majority believed best player in the NHL is coming down on you on a breakaway. He can literally do anything in his repertoire, and fires a quick shot at your five-hole. I mean, come on, Hank! How do you give that up. It's unbelievable. Talbot would've made that save. So would Steve Mason and Ray Emery. Hell, even MAF would make that stop.

Fleury is bound to evaporate. Maybe not tonight but I can't see him doing this for four straight games.
Why is he bound to evaporate? He has a Cup. He has more than enough playoff shutouts and is playing well.

Guess that MSL got lost when he went looking for Nash.

Your delusional if you actually think that. Fleury could of read of book while in net yesterday and got a shutout. Zero high quality chances yesterday. Hes been better today but the posts have saved his ass.

come on boys big 3rd period...channel your inner beast...and lets go get this...Pens have nothing..stop giving them something...make them pay...LGR!!!!!!!!!!!

Sather wins again!

0-32 is more than brutally cold. Even under Torts I can't remember it this bad.

We are losing games because our special teams cannot convert.

With even a 10-12% PP, we could have won a few games we lost.

Have you guys saying the Torts PP wasn't this bad forgotten Pierre's meltdown in Boston last year?

Pens didnt kill any PP's...thats my point..Its the Rangers hitting the post and not cashing in...Pens Penalty killing wasnt anything resembling good...didnt block shots...didnt do much of anything..but just watch the Rangers pass the puck around...both Pen goals were setup by Ranger passing...and last game the 1st Pen goal was an own goal... Lack of Rangers scoring and desperation at the end led to the other 2 Pen goals...Pens have done nothing this series..Rangers are beating themselves... If Rangers had cashed in on say only 20% of their PP opportunities.. They be up 2-0 in this series... Pens are no shows..Rangers helping them...but...big 3rd coming up...LGR!!!!!!

Penguins have shown up and scored 2 goals to the Rangers 0 so far. Their PK was good enough to not get scored on. Their offense was good enough to score twice. Whole bunch of "what ifs" that put the Rangers in this spot.

It's one thing to be optimistic, but it's another to completely discredit anything the Penguins have done. And they have done quite a few things to the Rangers so far.

We get one of those posts to go in and it's a different game, no guarantee the Penguins even get that second goal. No luck, no skill, nothing.

Some of you guys....

Hockey is a game of inches, we've had 3 posts.

Calling Crosby Cindy and at the same time giving up 2 periods into game 3 in a 1-1 series.
Real warriors you are! lol

The only reason that last night was not 6-0 was because of Henke. The Crosby goal was really bad? As yourself why there was a breakaway.

For everyone who wants to blame AV or Hank, or get rid of Richards or Nash... what exactly is the end game? Because unless you can provide a detailed plan on how doing any of these things make us a better team, it seems pretty stupid to make decisions out of anger.

Are we stuck with a mediocre hand? Yes.

Is doing any of these things (except potentially for buying out Richards) a smart move that will move us forward in the future? Highly, highly doubtful.
