Ok. Demons are exercised. Burned my shirt that I considered lucky for the last 22 years. Obviously it's broken.

Pictures on twitter. @fatchamala

Penguins have shown up and scored 2 goals to the Rangers 0 so far. Their PK was good enough to not get scored on. Their offense was good enough to score twice. Whole bunch of "what ifs" that put the Rangers in this spot.

Their PK willed the puck to hit the post? That's complete luck. Give me a break.

Why is buyout Nash even an option?

He's still very tradable.

Richards isn't.

Realistically what do you think we can get for an 8 million dollar guy who has no heart, is damaged goods and is not made for the playoffs?

You take him for granted and have for years.

No, I don't and I haven't

I used to vouch for him more than anyone here. I thought he should have won the Vezina last year. I said, that he was easily the best goalie in the world, and was only being hurt by Torts' System. Heck, last year I wanted "we are Qvistian Qvistian" to be our avatars because I thought so much of him.

I began criticizing him when his play worsened compared to previous years. Sure, I overreact to an extent. But, that's only because I used to think so highly of him, and it's painful watching him play so far below the level I know he can play at..

Good thing we have Nash and MSL to solve our scoring woes and put this team over the edge in the playoffs. Sigh...

I understand the hate on Hank right now, because I understand HF logic, which is usually wrong. Color me hesitant to blame the goalie when we haven't scored a goal in five periods.

I mean, Hank's faced three breakaways today. He's saved one. If he comes up with a HUGE, and I mean HUGE save on one of the other two, we're looking at a 1-0 game here. Better? You bet. But we're still losing.

HF, I need to quit you, but I can't :(

I did for nearly a year.

You come back eventually and come into a GDT thread and realize you should have just stayed the **** away because it's the same people with the same agendas.

Either way the St.Louis deal looks pretty bad. I didnt care about callahan but considering St.Louis has only scored 3 total goals since coming here and is 38 tampa bay picked up a couple of high picks

True. It looks bad. Another poor move by Sather.

At least we won't have to give up the higher round pick though.

Some of you guys....

Hockey is a game of inches, we've had 3 posts.

Calling Crosby Cindy and at the same time giving up 2 periods into game 3 in a 1-1 series.
Real warriors you are! lol

We're making Fleury look like the second coming of Roysek. And there's our glorious PP.

He's faced 14 shots and he's given up two goals. I don't care about the circumstance. Excuses should be used for bad goals. If Hank is as good as people say he is, the circumstances shouldn't matter. The best goalies make big saves regardless of how difficult they are. The Crosby goal was really bad. The Jokinen goal wasn't that bad, but still, the best goalies come up with huge saves.

Gave up a breakaway goal to the best player in the world and another one to a pretty good shootout player.

Who's giving up these breakaways? Hank stopped one. He's gonna give them up eventually.

I cant be the only one that think the Rangers completely outplayed the Pens this period, despite coming out on the wrong end of the score table

HA. Oh, that's adorable.

First of all, you don't suck your way to 57 points unless every one of them were deflected goals off the opposing team, or secondary assists that hit your skate on accident.

Stepan was excellent last year, had a rough start but really picked it up this year. He's not a good skater, but he's got excellent hockey IQ, soft hands (yeah, I said that), and a great defensive stick. It's a privilege having him on this team that can't develop centers for ****ing ****.

Yeah, I watch the ****ing games, and I see a damn good hockey player.

Outside of the lockout, Stepans careers is riddled with periods of vanishing. It happens.

He's not a top line center. He's not an elite player. He's just good.

he's rarely an impact player. As long as the Rangers don't have a true elite center, they will never get over the hump.

Sather has avoided acquiring an elite center for almost two decades.

Nylander, Holik, Gomez, Drury, Jokinen, Richards, Brassard.

All 2nd and 3rd tier.

All the draft picks and money wasted. You'd think he'd learn it took a blockbuster trade for an elite center to get this team to dominance.

The series is far from over but this has been uninspiring to say the least.

And, not one iota of it has been on the goaltender.

I did for nearly a year.

I really like the 'Entertainment' forum though. I should just stay out of GDTs. I think -31- is doing that these days. Smart man, I should do that, too.

This is... just... ugh.

Meanwhile, I've said for years, before and after the magical ECF run where we all KNEW we were overachieving all year, that this team needs to be blown up in order to ever progress past mediocre. Every year, at around this point when it starts to be imminent that our season is over, some people start spouting the same, but subsequently the following year, everyone tells me to get lost when I say "don't be fooled by a few good games" and that the team still needs a total restructuring. Unfortunately, Glen isn't the guy to do it anyways, so the point is pretty moot. It's getting tough to keep interested each year though because, frankly, I just don't really have it in me to root for Nash, Richards, St. Louis or random plugs each year like Pouliot, Pyatt, Christensen, etc. I'd so much rather finish 27th next year and bring in a kid with the #3-4 pick who I could actually watch grow as a Ranger than root for these losers like Nash and Richards who already have 20+ million in the bank when they become Rangers.

Realistically what do you think we can get for an 8 million dollar guy who has no heart, is damaged goods and is not made for the playoffs?
Kind of agree. he has concussion issues, he is a terrible playoff player, and he takes games off a lot for a guy who makes so much money and he skillset. Not gonna get as much as we gave

Rangers are to small and weak, losing all the board battles. We need size, I know everyone says we can kill them with speed but we just get out muscled everywhere
