I really like the 'Entertainment' forum though. I should just stay out of GDTs. I think -31- is doing that these days. Smart man, I should do that, too.

This is... just... ugh.

i go to ****** for all my needs. i still like coming to the boards for the rangers though because its much more active than the rangers *********

didnt know u werent allowed to say that website lol

I've been a Lundqvist critic since that contract was signed, but this is not Hank's fault. He played great yesterday. He can't stop everything, and anyone expecting him to do so is insane. Jokinen is one of the best in the game in a breakaway, and I fully expected him to score there. This is not on Hank.

Hating on JT Miller right now is absolutely laughable.

I literally can't think of one thing he's done wrong tonight that stands out.

As I said, there are far more important things tonight.

I can think of a few. He makes bad decisions in all three zones. He doesn't put the puck where it needs to go and where the obvious safe play is. He made a poor decision behind the Penguins net that led to a turnover. He made a poor decision on a rush passing to the wrong guy.

He makes poor decisions.

I appreciate his effort to get in deep and bump, but he is just not a smart hockey player IMO.

That's all that is, my opinion. You are entitled to yours. Hooray America!

I'm not watching any more of this. The Rangers are going to "powerplay" themselves right out of the playoffs.

And Fleury isn't playing as well as his stats indicate. All of our best chances have beaten him and hit the post. The rest he has just been solid on (stopping shots he should be stopping).

Oh, and I fully endorse the DSC. Awesome product.

My favorite current HFNYR logic. Even more than every goal no matter what even if it was scored by God himself is Hank's fault. The Miller love takes the cake.

You see Miller, unlike "The King," was a 1st round pick. If you are a 1st round pick, as any intelligent person can find next to a player's bio pic on nhl.com, your potential is limitless.

whats up with all these pucks bouncing off and over our sticks...concentrate boys..LGR!!!!!!!!!

Literally the biggest cop-out post I've ever read on HFBoards.

"Matteau swoops in to intercept. Matteau behind the net, swings it in front. HE SCORES! MATTEAU! MATTEAU!! MATTEAU!!! STEPHANE MATTEAU!!!! AND THE RANGERS HAVE ONE MORE HILL TO CLIMB, BABY, BUT IT'S MT. VANCOUVER! THE RANGERS ARE HEADED TO THE FINALS!"

I'm not blaming him for the score. I'm saying he's certainly part of it by giving up 2 goals on 14 shots.

3 of the 14 shots on breakaways - 2 of which were by the best player in the world then one of the best in shootout situations…

Get one quick? They haven't scored in over 5 periods, what makes you think they have any chance at getting one quick, or at all?

False hope? Blind optimism? Blatant foolishness? I dunno, I like watching games believing there's at least a chance of a good outcome.

Those are high quality scoring chances though. You have the best player in the world coming in on you on one goal, and one of the best breakaway artists on a breakaway coming out of the penalty box on another. He stood no chance there. He's not part of the problem here unless you're expecting him to pitch a shutout each and every game.
