It can always get worse. 5 words: Guillaume Lefebvre on the PP.And plain truth, it can't get any worse than it is already.

Remember when the corpse of Alexei Kovalev came back and he couldn’t even get his number off of Craig Adams? It's definitely not nostalgia to want a guy who is arguably the worst forward, defensively speaking, in the league who has also lost just about all offensive ability due to age. Yeah, Phil's garbage.
Man, that was such a bummer as someone who loved the Straka Lang Kovalev line.Remember when the corpse of Alexei Kovalev came back and he couldn’t even get his number off of Craig Adams?

Man, I know this forum gives it to Sully, but Bylsma's hard on for the Adams - Vitale - Glass line was easily, easily the most infuriating thing I've endured as a fan during the Crosby era. Worse than Jack Johnson, worse than Beau Bennett's injuries, worse than the current PP and blown leads. I can't express how much I H-A-T-E-D that stupid god damn line.Remember when the corpse of Alexei Kovalev came back and he couldn’t even get his number off of Craig Adams?
Jack Johnson's the worst player, by far, to play for the Pens in the Sid era. But he also gave us the absurdly comical series of events against the Isles, so he wasn't a total loss.
Watching Jack Johnson play hockey in the present moment sucked. Looking back though, quite funny.Even the thumbnail is gold.
Dude looks like he just simultaneously smelled the grossest fart of all time and butt-chugged a gallon of Malört.
While true, I'd rather share what's out there and then let everyone take what they want from it.Why are we acting like Dejan has any sort of credibility at this point?
Have you watched Phil Kessel play in the last calendar year? He's done.Meanwhile, there's this guy out there who's got more skill than all six bodies in the bottom six.
Rymes with Fill Vessel.
Probably could get him very cheap from what I understand.

Phil's cooked and we're stuck with Carter, but if anybody genuinely tries to tell me they wouldn't do a Carter-for-Kessel swap given the opportunity I'm going to assume they're secretly Mike Sullivan.
At least use updated ones and not ones before last season.
That's his 8 goals 44 assist for 52 points and -24
Last year he was 14 goals 22 assists for 36 points and only -7
So the guy who can still score who can compliment a couple defensive guys with some youth in O'Connor and vet center in Eller is way worse than what they currently have.
I'd say the extreme other way is worse.
But good talks. Yes, I've seen him play. He's 35 and not that of 38/39 Carter. Kessel was never about defense.
Hey, if it helps get Sullivan fired, I’m in favor of bringing Phil back lol…Kessel sucks shit, but I would bring him back just to see Sullivan lose his mind with frustration, and inevitably become known as the coach who healthy scratched Phil to kill the ironman streak.

Probably, but that likely happens regardless as we became stale and complacent as an organization. The day we signed JMFJ was the day the cup window closed.
I still want to know why he was scratched in ColumbusThe day we signed JMFJ was the day the cup window closed.
geno was ready to kill him before he left......why not bring him back, just so we can see geno finish the job.Kessel sucks shit, but I would bring him back just to see Sullivan lose his mind with frustration, and inevitably become known as the coach who healthy scratched Phil to kill the ironman streak.
Kessel is just as bad as Carter at this point. There is no justification for arguing anything otherwise.
LA: Ned + CarterThere’s no way LA is taking him back. They have aspirations of being a good team and already have cap issues and need to find a way to add a real goalie.
Carter has all the power. If he doesn’t want to go anywhere, he’s not going anywhere. If he was willing to go anywhere, he’d be in SJ right now finishing up his career in the California sun.
Dubas isn’t going to tell Sullivan to sit him, either.
