It’s the same as the draft.
People pretend that they know about prospects because they read a ranking. For all we know Pens consider Koivunen their #2 prospect or something. How many times has a Pens prospect been way better than the top guys listed in our pools? It’s like every time. Rust and Guentzel say hello.

I'm guessing that no matter how deep a prospect pool is, it's extremely rare that a team has a prospect group where 10 guys become regular NHLers.

I was honestly holding out hope we would just resign Jake, though. This is really it, now. We are done. The guys know it, look at that atrocious performance against a miserable Caps team. Crosby’s retiring after his contract and the other core guys will be hot on his heels. There’s nothing left to do but pray like hell that 87 demands a trade to a contender, opening the door to 71 going somewhere too.

I knew Smith was going in this deal. Why need a PMD. Also Vasili is a good add, he's Sully proof with how he plays. I hope he's called up asap.

I would have like to have been able to see more of Ty Smith. At the beginning of the season I envisioned 3 pairings that could really move the puck well and score some goals. I expected the team to be horrendous defensively, but be more exciting to watch. I should’ve known Mike was never going to give the guy a chance, especially when he has such a stud like Chad available to him at all times.
