Similarities for sure. Also started young in the NHL, enticing size, has underwhelmed for most of his career. Pool Party already trades at a big discount we will enjoy for a couple more years but after this season Kakko is an RFA following a $2,100,000 AAV in his current deal. I'm stuck with several devout Rags fans in my life and they've no love lost for the guy. Anecdotal, sure, but he's always on the list of Rangers that could be on the way out. Maybe Perrault is enough to stave off complete disaster with this purported deal?I don't pay close enough attention...but isn't he basically the newer version of Pool Party?

I know there is time, but I think this deadline is an epic fail if players like Smith and Eller are still on the roster beyond tomorrow. Ruhwedel is expiring, ditto Nedeljokovic. But the other two veterans are exactly the players we need to trade if Dubas actually DOES want to "get younger". They have term, but that cannot be a deal breaker.
Meanwhile, teams are signing prospects since March 1 and we have done nothing on that front either. Dubas needs to prove that he is more than just a big move, splashy GM. So far, he has not proven a thing.
Again, there is still time. But it is also running out.
That said, I’m really hoping for a home run here, because I really don’t wanna say pixies was right about dubie. I think he’s a good gm, but if this winds up being a FAFO situation and we get junk, imma be the first in line to lead a coup to put hextall back in placeSomeone hasn’t received a dopamine hit in the last 30 minutes and is desperate. What a nothing tweet.
That's wild to me. Eller has been really solid.According to Friedman, no one wants Eller.

I’m sure he’ll take picks if they wanna just give them away on top of players, but yes, the desire for players over picks is why FLA and Van are balking at the price. JR has no problem throwing 100 picks at a problem, but giving up real, good players is a bit harderIf Dubas doesn't want any picks, not sure how Vegas and Fla are still in the mix. NYR and CAR assets are a tier or two above what they can offer.

Including me. Nothing personal, LarsAccording to Friedman, no one wants Eller.

Yes. I type in a really staccato way, and I find myself wanting to edit messages 15 times after I post, but after someone’s read a message once, they’re probably not rechecking to see if it’s edited, so sometimes I just quote myself.Did you just quote yourself?
Not criticizing, I should quote myself more. I am very quotable.
He's been good but not surprising that no one wants a 35 year old 4c with another year left. That's wild to me. Eller has been really solid.
