If it's POJ vs Friedman for a roster spot, you keep POJ.

As a former first round pick who is only 23, the odds of him continuing to develop are greater than the 26-year-old Friedman. The further into their 20s athletes get, the less likely they are to emerge as high caliber players.

POJ's puck movement and skating gives him a higher ceiling. He undoubtedly has question marks, but if you have to choose you take the younger unknown with a higher ceiling.

There were some rumors that the org didn’t like POJ but I think they were made from one of the fat charlatans. Plus it seems like Hextall likes Friedman since he was a Flyer and we picked him up on waivers.

At the same time if we're keeping POJ just to sit him that doesn't do him a whole lot of good and won't let him develop.

Although it is the Penguins and we are going to have injuries.

The real question is why is his head three sizes too big for his body. He looks like a bobblehead, or like someone photoshopped an adult head onto a 12 year old's body.

Yea he's probably mad because he's like that guy that's at the gym 24/7 working on his calves but still has chicken legs except with shoulders, instead.

That take on Pettersson was more a comment on cap situations versus actual potential from POJ.

Similar to how I feel with Blueger vs Poehling, although with the injuries that is obviously a moot point and we just should keep Teddy.

And seeing him as an NHL ready guy with top 4 potential...

If you feel consistent in your own mind fair enough, but that's not how it looks from the outside.
