Just run Geno-Sid-Rust. Who cares. There's no depth anyway, stop pretending there is and insulting everyone's intelligence by throwing out waiver wire claims on your 2nd line.

I mean... seriously. This has been a one line team for months. At least TRY to get Malkin some confidence back. WTF is this accomplishing aside from just beating him down even more? You're just tossing the guy to the wolves at this point and pretending to be surprised when the best they can do is draw even.

Odds that Sully ends up top of that list? I still don't think he'd want to coach a team in the process of a tear down and/or rebuild, so as soon as Sid's done (after 2026?), I think Sully's probably stepping down. The sad thing is, he probably makes it that long.

Shit, it's been a one line team for like two or three years at this point.

I am glad that Sullivan finally split Graves-EK…that was a nightmare…Petts-Ek is definitely the way to go….as is giving POJ another go with Letang…best that can be done right now with Graves being a boat anchor

Pool party comes in and is the best forechecking and most physical forward we've had in years and gets benched and scratched. Phillips literally hands the game away and gets promoted.

Now that's some high quality coaching.
You gotta think outside the Dunkin Donuts box, man.

On the bright side, since the game plan remains the same despite being manifestly unsuited to the strengths of this particular roster (and kind of stupid for any roster if we are being honest), it doesn't really matter if Sullivan tinkers with his lines or not.

So, bring it on, Sully, put Harkins on L1 just for the hell of it, I know you want to!

Yeah it's somehow worse.

Whatever I guess it's not like they can lose in any more pathetic of a fashion as they have been.

If you’re going to go with a bunch of little people on your roster, it might be wise to try to play the game in the middle the ice, rather than on the boards. It’s the little things lol.

The Penguins lack the ability to do the simple things, and it cost them big again.

Two big ones:

1. PP zone entries
2. Overpassing.

If the Pens could do these simple things they win 3-1 last night.
