Do you guys ever look at the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, and New York Islanders rosters and think.. how are we so much worse then them?
Yes

Every time we play any other team

The GDT lines go up and it's like.. WTF... How are at about to lose to Xander Bumplesticks and Colin Thompson-Kelley lines backstopped by Stephen Gilman

Here is what I'd try to do going into next year.

That Stecher deal should be for only one year.

Poulin and Ponomaryov would be getting spots to if they show up in camp over Nieto.

I gotta admit I admire your persistence. This season started to push me away, and this past TDL as well as Sullivan being repeatedly given a vote of confidence, completely broke me.

Literally the only reason I even post at this point is just because I enjoy the banter. This organization as long as it insists Sullivan is still the man is dead to me.

Speaking of Pus, I think he's been doing good getting chances lately. Maybe not scoring but he's doing well on the top 6 IMO. Dumbass needs to keep him there.

It's funny to me that people think he'll be fired.

I just expect his stupid voice and face haunting me for the rest of my life as a Penguins fan.

Like I 1000% expect him to go to another coaching gig, get fired and suddenly be on the broadcast for the next era of Penguins taunting me when we have a new core about how our top center reminds him of Mark Jankowski / Matt Cullen.

I think Bunting and Puustinen could be a good match-up.

I hope to god Sully doesn't play him with Sid.

I'm upset with the return for Jake, but finally having our top six being FORCED to change makes me a lot more willing to deal with Rust tbh.

You know he will.

"Sorry for your loss bud, here take Bunting. He may not be Jake but he's still one of the best".

I know trading Jarry would have been too much of a fever dream, conflicting the FSG overlord plan, but how do you not trade Ned?

The Avs didn't end up getting a goalie?

This trade deadline was the most flaccid piece of shit, somehow even worse than last year. At least last year, under immense pressure, Sleepy shipped out 3 bad contracts in the bottom-6.

So you're telling me as sellers, we shipped out less than last year, where we were still very much in the race?

Hextall is a rebuilding GM, he also cleared that space and got friggin Granlund.

I wonder where Jake signs? we need to get younger so should not be here.

No goaltenders were traded.

Also, it's seems pretty obvious that Dubas played his hand with Guentzel and by the time he moved onto other players the cap situations were already clearly laid out by other teams.

Every single goddamn day.

this room is hilarious to me. this is where a 900 million dollar company gives a press conference from?

The weight room at the Rose Schneider Cranberry YMCA was already booked.

Please, the only thing that Cranberry has is a dying strip mall, nonsensical traffic lights, Jimmy Wan's, and sad handjobs in the Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot.

They don't have Todd Reirden? I'm assuming that's what you're getting at.
Sid wants to be the best so badly he's giving himself a handicap, like when Goku (RIP to a real one) trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Still not sure what to think of him. He’s got great fundamentals. His board work is excellent, and he has the right instincts for forechecking and isn’t afraid of contact. Maybe it’s his skating? It’s not poor or anything. Just not a lot of initial explosiveness. And I guess he could work on his hands. His sauce is a little unpredictable at times.

Hopefully Sullivan is done screwing with him now but you never know. Took Doc like 100 games before Sullivan became fully comfortable with him.

It's amazing how much younger the Penguins just got with Bunting. 11 whole months younger than Jake. That'll do... something!
Their average age is still around 30. Most teams are around 27. That’s a lot of years.

Just watched the presser with him finally. It’s clear him and the coaching group no longer have the same vision. Based on his body language it appears sully is gone over the summer.

Posted this one main board by accident lol.
