Also Lucic just straight ran the Stars goalie, scored, and it coutned

I'll never understand how they rule some of these plays. Between interference and kicking motions its a f***ing coin flip

We're gonna know just how not ready the team is when the Pens are absolutely demolished in Round 2....Nemeth and Schneider are just brutal out there.

Schneider has been awful also
Release the NILS!
Nils is a very steady defensive defenseman. People assume because of his size that he this offensive juggernaut.
He was getting better at the end of the season moving the puck up by learning that time is a lot shorter on NHL ice rinks.

Nothing is more important than the requisite amount of young scoring forward talent which we currently still lack and experience can be acquired any year organically.
Seal has been broken, it's not happening. This is what we got, hope the 3rd line becomes godlike. Regardless, enjoy the next 5 years for what it will be.

I stand by my thinking that us being as good as we were was a year early and surprise for the front office. I thought we would have been fighting tooth and nail for WC2.
I mean, actually I think it’s the ascendance of two players in particular, Fox and Shesterkin, who skyrocketed to levels we did not foresee when we acquired them, that has been the most surprising to the team.

But we are talking about players who are 25 and under. We didn’t need to rush a window on their account.

Probably not winning any Cups then.

The players rushed themselves.

I think the decision to play Nemeth, the pp's, Our best center doing nothing, losing every important faceoff are more of the reason we lost this game.
Well they won convincingly in Game 2, so no need to make a change on defense. Power play didn’t give up a goal against, so it’s a wash, and Zibanejad isn’t the reason they lost.

Backup goalie with softie problem lets in a softie at the worst possible time. That’s your ballgame.

LMAO. Didn't see the game, just back to work. Was planning on watching a recorded version, but thank god I didn't. 3rd string goalie outplaying the guy on the path to the Vezina. This team is f***ing soft.

We have a lot of scoring talent, just still lack some things which will be added. Playoff experience is extremely important and this team did have 110 points. That says they were ready to take the next step. This experience will pay dividends in future years whether they win or lose this series. It's part of the process.

agree with the first 2 points. 3rd one is absolutely wrong.
Agree 100%. That 3rd one is a whopper.
There are 64 goalies in the league at any given time. If there were 64 forwards, guys like Vatrano and Copp wouldn't even make it to the AHL.

People are absolutely gobsmacked that a third string goalie is playing well and it's entirely normal.

Good goaltending is the easiest thing to find in sports. You should never spend money on it.
