Brown had beast mode enabled.

Seriously I cant find the "mitchell suckerpunch"

The refs have been a complete embarrassment with the misconducts handed out in every series for guys simply talking, but they jumped to a new level tonight with the Regher fight.

You NEVER jump into a fight as a linesmen unless the other linesman is there as well. Regher gets loose and that piece of **** grabs him and lets Burns get some freebies. That linesman should be barred from the rest of the playoffs: especially if he was the same one that kept getting in the effing way of the puck.

Brown pretty much needs Kopitar. Good to see him step up though.

Sutter never should have broken up the kids with Carter. The kids play so well together which is why I keep harping on how Sutter needs to try 70-57-73 next season. Pearson is a different player when he is with Toffoli; it's completely obvious.

That was fun. Regardless if they lose Game 5, this team performed for its fans tonight. As a paying customer, it was greatly appreciated.

Random but I didn't know Toffoli was handsome until I saw his Post Game Interview.

Now we know the strategy taking place this year:

In 2012, the Kings went up 3-0 in all of their four Series.

In 2014, the Kings will go down 0-3 in all of they four Series.

The Cup is Ours! :yo:

Funny fact..... which Kings forward led all other Kings forwards in ice time last night? Mike Richards...... Meanwhile, Gaborik didn't even play 1/4 of the game.......

Stoll had more than Kopitar too, without looking too much into it, im gna guess the top line was rested a lot of the 3rd

It probably has more to do with Gabo/Kopitar/Brown getting destroyed in the advance stats last night.

They were pummeled in the Crosi rating. The line conceded ground every single shift with numerous turnovers.

In other words, they were garbage with the puck(despite scoring).

Braun chops Williams a couple times and he doesn't even bite and then Braun jumps him.

Then that ugly, toothless, hobo **** Burns wants a piece of Gaborik. Just like their captain loves to jump smaller guys, Burns follows suite. Then it takes two refs to wrestle Regehr off him. Everyone can say what they want about his defensive game, but the guy takes absolutely zero **** from anyone, especially some clown that goes after smaller guys. And then I love how after the refs have them stopped and Regehr is in a vulnerable position Burns gets a couple shots in. What a *****. Sheppard mouthing off is funny to. You lost and you're up 3-1, get the hell off the ice.

Richards had a good game, he deserved the ice time.

It's just so much of a better situation when they have him on 4th line and he is matched up against lesser competition, it becomes a strength for the Kings. It worked earlier in the year and then Sutter for some odd reason moved him back up with Carter, which hasn't worked in a long time.

Richards doesn't have it most games, so just keep him on 4th line and then if he does have a strong game you can play him in more situations. My biggest issue was how much Sutter tried to force him into the 2nd line role, Mike Richards is no longer a 2nd line player in the NHL, but atleast through this season he can be a valuable member of the Kings bottom six.

Actually, in this game, Sutter was trying to match Richards up against Thornton which he did pretty successfully; about 11-12 minutes of Thornton's 21 minutes was spent facing Richards. Thornton ended up with a +- of -2 and no points. pPobably just an anomaly on Richards' part though.

I noticed that Mike Brown had 3:38 of ice time ......for a guy who's primary role is to be a goon, he's VERY good at it! The amount of time Bob & Jim talk about him, you'd swear he was out there for half the game!!!!

Wow that's really interesting. My drunk friend thought it he was the same goon that drew Regehr into the fight but it was Burns.

They are both pieces of excrement, actually. I can't believe these a-holes have goals against us in this series. Well, maybe their ****ing luck has run out. Would love to sweep these mother-****ers right into elimination.

Hey Sharks fan, where are you? You wanted a rivalry, now you got a rivalry. Happy?

Thornton is doing nothing in road playoff games, as usual. This guy is truly the definition of "homer." Who can forget his absolute no-show against the Kings last season in game 7? So many Sharks seem to only play hard in front of their home crowd. They can't seem to get it together in the playoffs on the road. They got a couple of fluky goals in game 3 and that is truly the difference in this series now.

Hopefully the Kings can make it competitive in San Jose, where they have been clearly outclassed. They really need to get their **** together up there, at least take one and extend this series.

A win is a win and I will take it but that was an embarrassment that I hope leads to our finding a different coach in the offseason.

We knew bloody well that the least minute of the game was going to be goonfest 2014 but that "there's no place for anger in hockey" grandmother puts players on the ice that aren't all capable of handling themselves in those situations.

What a bunch of crap that was.

Sutter lost a ton of respect from me tonight. Not that it matters even the tiniest of bits but to me, that was just pathetic.

Happy we won some great performances and everyone played like they understood what tonight was all about but F Sutter.
I like Sutter but man you're preaching to the choir! I was telling anybody and everybody who'd listen to me the exact same thing. Is it too much to dream tha Babcock gets fired and comes aboard in L.A.?

Honestly, who is he going to put out there? Nolan was scratched. Clifford is our only other tough guy.

I'm not sure what either of you want in a situation like that.

Brown, King, Regher, Lewis (maybe!), Pearson (he's got size), Muzzin, Carter (he's tall at least).......

Regher was out there. No way you put Kopi or Carter out there, why would you do that? What if they break a hand throwing a punch. I don't know Pearson but I don't want to lose his speed for any part of a game.

Brown isn't really a fighter. Maybe I see King and/or Lewis, but Muzzin? I think you are stretching. This team is big but they are not really into fighting.

You absolutely right but, trust me, nobody wants to fight with Carter. I can only remember him fighting once when he was in Philly and he cleaned some guy's clock (quick fists). Can't remember any others after that- word gets around.

Brown with a beasting physical game outside of the offence with the puck

Regehrs best contribution in a Kings jersey comes after the final horn of a game. Love it

No clue why Brown looks like a whole different player with Kopitar but that game is exactly what we need from the captain.

lol about Regehr. But I'm still mad about the way they broke that up. And that none of the Sharks will fight a guy face-to-face but have no problem jumping everyone from behind in scrums. Hell, the two times in the last little bit Sharks have faced us, Voynov fought Thornton and dropped Burns and Regehr was getting ready to steal Burns' shopping cart!

:sarcasm:

But I generally agree.

relatedly, I would clockwork orange the Kings with the above gif before the next game.

Was it this? I saw another one vs. Winchester that was probably a mismatch but he surprisingly held his own there too. Plus, he's even stronger now--big dude with a lot of reach that seems to have pretty great balance, you're probably right, not a lot of guys would want a piece of that.
